We were so engrossed in conversation that I didn’t even look to see where we were until I got out. Taking Petru’s hand as he helped me out of the limo, I stood and looked up to find myself in front of my home. Tears instantly burst into my eyes as I took in the familiar features of a place I never thought I’d see again. I tried to pull myself together, covering my mouth with a hand, but then the front door opened and my parents stepped out. Dropping Petru’s hand, I ran up the steps to the front door and threw my arms around my mother.

Now we were both sobbing as she clung to me as tightly as I did to her. My father wrapped his arms around us, kissing me on the head as he always did when I was little. “Welcome home, Danella. We’ve missed you so much.”

When I finally stopped crying and got myself together enough, we made it into the house. They escorted us to our front sitting room and I got the chance to introduce my parents to my guys. Seeing the joy on my mother’s face as they hugged her and shook hands with my father was priceless. They had tea brought in, and I spent the next hour or so giving the short version of what my life had been like since I left at seventeen.

“Oh, my sweet girl,” mother said with a sniff dabbing at her eyes with a hanky. “I hate hearing how hard your life has been and then thinking I died that day. Just makes my heart break hearing about it.”

I stood and sat next to my mother on the small couch, grasping her hands. “It was tough, but you raised a daughter who didn’t know how to be anything but tough. You showed me every day of my life what true strength was every day you got up and fought to make the most of it. How could I not do the same?”

She burst into tears and pulled me into another hug holding me tightly. “My sweet, sweet girl, so strong and kind, just like I always knew you’d grow up to be.”

“You sure you boys are up for the job?” Father asked, making me laugh.

“It’s a little late for that, don't you think?” I pointed out.

Father frowned as he looked the guys over. “It’s a father’s duty to ensure his daughter is given the best life with the best partners. I just want to be sure they are the right ones for the task.”

“You’re absolutely right, sir,” Victor said as he stood. “Which is why I’ve waited until now to ask this question, but I would like your blessing to marry your daughter.”

My jaw dropped as Victor got on one knee. He wasn’t looking at me, however. He was waiting for my father’s answer. “Son, if you think I actually have a say in who she spends her life with, maybe you aren’t the right person for her.”

“Honestly, I just wanted to see her reaction to me asking,” Victor said with a smirk, turning to me holding up a ring. “Danella Holsted, will you marry me?”

Fighting back tears, I nodded trying to get words out of my mouth and when they did, I couldn’t believe what they were. “Fucking took your time, didn’t you, Vicky.”

He laughed, taking my left hand and kissing the back of it before sliding on the ring. “I wanted this to be a moment that would live in your memory forever. Plus, how could we not have your mother at our wedding?”

“Wait, what?” I blurted, feeling like I had missed something. “We’re coming back here to get married?”

“No, Little Spark, we’re getting married right now,” Victor clarified. “I waited long enough to put my mark on you. Now that I have, there is no more wasting time to make you mine forever.”

He tugged me to my feet and opened the outside door to the garden. It was beautifully decorated with twinkle lights and an arch with white, flowing gauze. Out there waiting for us was Rick with his wife Sasha and the rest of their family. Tori and Violet were there too, with the kids grinning like fools. With Cambrie and her men along with my parents, it made up all the people who had impacted my life and the future I would now have. Victor walked me right up to the arch and Marius came to stand before us under the arch facing the rest of the guests.

“Are you ready?” he asked softly. I couldn’t speak so I nodded.

Then he proceeded to lead us in one of the most beautiful ceremonies I’ve ever heard. Full of wisdom, hope, and dreams for the future. It was all I could do not to cry through the whole thing.

“Do you, Danella Holsted, take this man to be your husband?”

“I do,” I proclaimed with a confident voice.

“Do you, Victor Hosdeu, take this woman to be your wife?”

“You bet the fuck I do,” Victor stated, then pulled me in for a kiss that I felt all the way down to my soul.

Everyone cheered, clapped, and whistled around us, making the moment more special. Victor scooped me up and let out a battle cry as he spun us around making me laugh so hard my stomach hurt. My life had been hell at times, reaching moments where I didn’t know how I could go on and still see the good in the world. Then the fates blessed me with these men who healed my heart and made me proud to be an Omega. No longer was I a breeder, a slab of meat for someone to use. I was an equal, my opinion was valued, and I protected those who couldn’t protect themselves.

This was the gift I wanted to give back to the world, and we would do it, one dream at a time together as a pack.
