I set her on her feet and hold her against me as we take in the view. The roar of the ocean was loud in the house, but the crashing waves are even louder out here. For a few moments, we stand and breathe in the fresh air.

Sara relaxes back against me, her arms wrapped around mine. “It’s beautiful, boss.”

Drew joins us and nods to let me know the household staff is gone.

We have so many plans for this week, but most of them will be dictated by how Sara feels. But right now, I want her to relax.

“We have this all week, pip.” I draw in a breath. “Plenty of time to relax and fuck and make love until we have to go home.”

She sighs against me.

“But we also want to figure out where this is going.” We’ve come out to society, and while it’s been rocky at times, for the most part, people aren’t bothered. There will always be people like Verity, who sneer at us, but there’s just as many people who are happy we’re happy. Parents were a mixed bag of accepting or, like Drew’s parents, resigned. Even if he’s sharing Sara with others, she’s still the right class of person for him to have a future with.

“You mean our future?” she asks.

“Yes, our future.” Finn steps in closer and takes Sara’s hand, holding it in his. “Are we content with where things are? How do we want things to move forward?”

“Do you marry one of us and commit to the rest of us?” Drew steps to her other side and takes her hand. “Or do we find a way to bind our lives together and have a commitment ceremony with our family and fuck the legal system?”

She laughs a little.

Wyatt moves in front of her and tips her chin up. “What we care about is having a life with you and us and our children. It doesn’t matter how we arrange the legal matters. You’re ours and we’re yours. That’s what matters most to us.”

I release my hold on her and we all sink to a knee surrounding her. Her eyes are wide as she looks around at us with her hand covering her mouth.

“Sara.” Drew draws her attention to him and takes her hand. “I was meant to be a onetime fuckfest, but I know a good thing when I find one. You let me in and I locked the door so you couldn’t kick me out. I always knew you were endgame for me. Even if I’d had to pick up the shattered pieces of your heart and glue them back together because these three hadn’t gotten their heads out of their asses.”

“Kiss up,” Wyatt mutters.

Sara laughs as her eyes glisten with tears.

“I love you, Sara. I don’t have the history these guys have with you, but I don’t need it. We have the history we’ll make together and that means everything to me. I want to be your husband, your lover, your friend, your conspirator against these guys. I love you and want to share my life with you and the men you love.”

He passes Wyatt her hand. Sara runs her hand through Drew’s hair before she turns to look down at Wyatt.

“I can’t say enough how sorry I am for the way I treated you when we were younger.”

Sara cups his jaw. “Wyatt—‍”

“Let me say this, and I swear it will be the last time.” He clears his throat. “I’ve loved you since you were my best friend’s little sister. I’ve loved you as you became a woman and a tease. I’ve loved you for what seems like my whole life. Even though I don’t deserve you and I still don’t deserve your forgiveness, I’ll never leave you. I love you and want to spend the rest of my life making up for the years I was too stupid to realize I was just hurting both of us by denying my feelings. I want to be your husband and your children’s father. I want to make up for lost time and spend the rest of my life loving you fully each and every day.”

Her shoulders shake and I put my hand on her waist. She covers it with her free hand.

“I love you, Sara, always and forever. Share my life, my love, my bed, my everything. I won’t ever let you down again.”

He kisses her knuckles and passes her hand to Finn. She turns to him and I see the tear slip down her cheek. But she can’t stop her smile.

“You have my heart. You always have, and that’s why I never stayed with anyone else. They weren’t you. I never considered you could be mine. I always wanted you, but you laughed off my flirtatious advances as That’s just Finn. I didn’t take it to heart because I knew your heart was set on another. It was hard not to feel like a consolation prize. Like someone you wanted to try but would never settle for.”

She slides her hand into his hair. “I love you.”

He smirks. “I know. And you’ve shown me more times than I can count that I’m yours and that you mean to keep me. You were the little girl who followed us around and worshipped us like gods when we were younger and you grew into a beautiful woman who I plan to worship for the rest of my days. I love you more every day. I promise to always be there for you, to be there for our family and future children. I want to be your husband and lover and best friend. I want it all, and because you love me, I know I deserve it all. I love you, Sara. Say you’ll spend the rest of your life with me and my friends.”

He kisses her knuckles and passes her hand to me. Her eyes shine down at me as I take her hand and look up at the love of my life.

“You’ve always been mine, pip. I’ve always taken care of you, from when you were little to when you were determined to make Wyatt see you to when you were scared and needed someone to hold you. You’re my everything. I would have married you when you asked when I was twelve if I’d been a smarter boy. But I know your heart would never be full without all of us. I love you and intend to keep you safe and protected for the rest of our lives. You make our lives full and we’re not going anywhere. I love you, Sara. Be our bride, our wife, the mother of our children, the one we grow old with. Marry us?”

Wyatt hands me the box and I open it for her.
