“You ordered way too much food.” He shook his head.

“Nope. Now make out with me because we won’t be able to in about twenty minutes, at least until later.”

“They said it would be forty for the food.”

He raised an eyebrow and looked at me with a smirk. “I know, but I’m not sure I feel comfortable doing this in front of Dusty.”

My heart fluttered when he said he invited our lover over. I didn’t want to question it or make it a big deal.

“Oh. Okay.” Was all I said.

Before I could say anything more he grabbed the back of my head and kissed me hard and deep. Reciprocating his desire, we made out for ten minutes, then pulled back. I knew I had beard burn, and I could see it on Joe’s face. Dusty would know what we had been doing, but that was okay, because our relationship wasn’t a secret. Joe was right, though I didn’t think I was ready to be intimate with either of them when the other was around, but the fact that we would be able to see Dusty before he left was a gift. The sex wasn’t the important part.

When there was a knock at the door, we kissed one more time, then he stood up from my lap. Before he walked away, I grabbed his wrist. “Joe, thank you for this.”

“I’m going to miss him, too.” He kissed my cheek and went to his door.

Dusty stood on the other side of the door, and he was gorgeous as always, but when he hugged Joe, I watched. The embrace was a little longer than that of casual friends, but it made my heart feel funny. They looked amazing together. I stared and swallowed hard. At that moment, I felt incredibly emotional because I cared for them—maybe even loved—both so very much. I joined them at the door and got a hug from Dusty, too.

Joe watched us, and I wondered if his feelings were similar to mine. This felt awkward, but also like it was the precipice of something. I was confident we would all relax.

Dusty smiled and held up a bag. “I thought for this momentous occasion we might need this.” Reaching in, he pulled out limes, salt, and a bottle of Patron Tequila.

“Yes,” I said with a smile.

Joe turned around opened a cabinet and pulled out three shot glasses. All three of us grinned at each other like this would make everything less weird, and it might not but we’d at least relax.

Dusty opened the bottle, and filled each glass while I cut up limes.

Surprisingly Dusty gave us both a huge grin, “lets do this.” He licked his wrist and put some salt on it, Joe and I followed. Then we held up our glasses. “To excellent friends.” We clicked our glasses together, licked the salt and took the shot.

As it burned down my throat I felt even more affection for each of them. Bone deep I wanted us all to be lovers and friends and with us all here in the room together it became a possibility.

Chapter twenty-six

JOE

All three of us together felt great. These were men I cared so much about, and I had been wanting to get us together since Dusty and Gentry reunited. Now we were here in my cottage with a good bottle of tequila.

“Let’s do one more, then we can show Dusty your pictures,” I said to both of them, but looked at Gentry.

“You took pictures?” Dusty asked. “I want to see. Is your laptop in here?”

I nodded.

Dusty was bouncing, then he grabbed the bottle and glasses, and headed toward the living room. “I wanna see.” He whined a little and giggled.

Gentry grabbed the limes and salt, while I got plates and silverware.

Dusty looked excited. “You sit between us, Joe.”

I grabbed my laptop, then sat between them. Both of their bodies against mine at the same time took my breath away. Pulling up the pictures, I clicked on the folder, and it opened to a picture of me on top of Gentry, clearly thrusting against him. It was one of the photos the camera with a timer took. The looks on our faces were pure ecstasy.

“Oh. Shit. Sorry.” I went to close it, glancing at Gentry.

“No,” Dusty said as he put his hand over mine, which kept me from closing it. “You two look fucking hot together.”

Gentry squeezed my thigh, giving me support silently.
