Chapter one
JOE
I looked at the pictures on the screen, and they were hot. The camera loved him. The shots on the computer were gorgeous.
“Can you wrap your hand around your shaft and lean back?” I asked, trying not to sound creepy.
I couldn’t take my eyes off him while he arched his back, hard shaft in hand, muscles flexed. The shutter clicked as he repositioned himself, and I moved to capture several angles.
“Okay, give me a minute. I want you on your hands and knees next.”
The monitor showed the images I had just taken. Today’s model was Mark, and I planned to put him in more positions before I wrapped up our session. These pictures would be edited and distributed to a variety of clients for use as book covers, erotica blogs, and stock image sites.
When I turned around, Mark was whispering with his husband Alan, who had a protective hand on his partner’s shoulder.
“Everything okay?”
Alan looked at me. “He thinks the pictures will be terrible.”
“What? Why?”
I knew I was good at my job, but it hurt a little that they had so little faith in me. I loved taking erotic photographs of men, and I knew what we had taken today was amazing.
When Mark looked at me, his eyes were sad. “I’m not that attractive.”
“Bahhhmfh.” Then I snorted. I couldn’t help the sound I made because it was the silliest thing I had heard. “Mark, you are gorgeous, and the photos are fantastic. Would you like to see them?”
Mark looked up at me. “Can I?”
While we looked at the pictures, I couldn’t help but notice that Mark was an attractive man. He stood a foot from me, completely naked, and sometimes remaining professional was difficult.
Focusing back on the screen, I continued, “Some of these will get adjustments like the colors of the ribbons, or the color tones.”
Mark looked at Alan, then smiled. That look between them made me a little jealous. After growing up in a very religious family, I’d only been able to embrace my sexuality in the last few years, so finding the right partner was still way down the road.
“Joe?” I turned and looked at Alan, “Mark and I think you are mighty fine to look at, if you ever want to come spend time with us.”
There was no doubt about what Alan had proposed, but better not to assume. “Like dinner?”
They both chuckled at me. “Oh, sweet man. You know we don’t mean dinner, though there would be plenty of eating.”
I wasn’t even sure what an appropriate response would be in this situation. “I’m not sure I would be able to handle you both. I think I might be a one-man kind of guy. Sharing would be too hard.”
Alan smiled at me, “Don’t knock it until you try it. It’s an open-ended offer if you ever change your mind.”
“I appreciate that.” Surprisingly, I actually did. Being comfortable with the conversation showed how far I had come since moving to Titanburg.
Not panicking about ‘God’ striking me dead because I was thinking about sex—not even considering it being with a man or in this case two men—showed how far I had come and that my life was good. Better than good, I loved my life.
The Wilson family had embraced me as if I had grown up with them. Once I was out from under the tyranny of my parents, it allowed me to live authentically—it had only been a dream before my brother-in-law saved us.
It was getting late, and I needed to finish these pictures before my Dusty arrived. We planned to eat and hopefully fool around a little. We had a friends-with-benefits thing going on that worked well. Sure, I wanted more someday, but for now, Dusty helped me spread my wings.
“Let’s get these last shots.” I smiled at the two men.
Mark got on his hands-and-knees. Alan got behind him and positioned himself to simulate penetrative sex. The visual was hot, and I knew these photos would sell immediately. Once we got the erotic pictures finished, I took a variety of them with their clothes off together and separately. They asked if they could have copies for their own ‘photo album’. The thought that they enjoyed these pictures together really showed how great their partnership was. When we were done, there were several thousand pictures of the men. I paid them their fee, and knew I got my money’s worth.
“Thank you both. These are all fantastic.” I walked them down the hall.
