He picks up a piece of his Crazy Dragon Roll and holds it toward me.

His gorgeous green eyes crinkle at the corners.
“I thought you might.”

“You don't strike me as someone who plays it safe.”
I tilt my head.
“What gave me away?”
“You quit a corporate career to open an occult bookstore in a small town.”

I lean forward and take the bite directly from his chopsticks.
