She whimpers, nodding.

“Tell me I can fuck you whenever I want, wherever I want, because you’re mine,” Mal practically begs. “Shit, I’m done for.”

“Lumen is ours,” I remind him, gritting my teeth as my forehead rests against her shoulder.

“Yes! I’m yours! I belong to all of you. Bite me!” She moans, long and loud. “Dammit, you too, K. Please, please, please!”

It speaks to how disconnected I am with reality because no warning bells go off in my mind.

My shaft swells, and I stretch up, digging my canines into the top of her shoulder. Her blood hits my tongue as I empty inside her all over again.

Her begging moans become muffled, and I can only assume Malcolm kissed her to hush her commands.

The few seconds that pass after it clicks that I bit her while waiting for her to accept the connection are the longest of my entire life.

Her pears and roses scent floods my mind.

It’s like scenting her, but also not.

I don’t know.

It’s weird.

Our souls tether together. It’s a warm, floaty, completely comforting feeling.

Her euphoria slams into the connection, and my vision goes hazy. It’s hard to know what emotions come from Lumen and which are my own. That’s going to take some getting used to.

I retract my teeth to clean and seal the bite. Before my instincts even feel satisfied that I’ve nursed the bite well enough to prevent infection, I’m blasted with Malcolm’s excitement.

This time, it’s his scent that teases through my mind.

Understanding clicks quickly.

He also bit her.

I kiss Lumen’s shoulder, flicking my tongue over my claiming mark. An unnatural amount of pride fills my chest, but that’s cut short as Kincaid’s hazelnut scent floods the bond.

Well, damn.

I almost chuckle.

He’s the least likely to act rashly, but apparently all three of us were in agreement that we didn’t want to risk her getting away.

Three bonds are a lot to handle all at once. Lumen seems to be doing okay, based on what she’s projecting through the connection, but we’ll keep a close eye on her to be sure that stays true.

Malcolm growls, breaking their kiss. “Holy shit. You’re all ours.”

“Yeah,” she agrees, nodding.

Here’s hoping that she’s just as content with the idea of being tethered to us for life when the fog clears.

Either way, there are no take-backs when it comes to bonding. That’s why the other person’s soul has to agree to the union.

A slow smile crosses my face.

We just locked Lumen down for life.

Lumen stays wrapped around my chest as we walk into the cabin. She wasn’t interested in getting dressed, and we had our first argument as a bonded couple.
