What the fuck is wrong with these guys, and what the hell did I do to deserve being stuck with them both at ‘home’ and here?

I push up to my knees with a huff, slowly rising to my feet as he goes. My muscles protest, stiff from the fight, but I push through it, ready to get the fuck out of here.

Isaac stops with his hand pressed to the door, but he pauses for a moment.

“I suggest you stop pissing Kolson off,” he says, his voice quiet, and I freeze.

I wasn’t aware I’d done anything to make Kolson mad.

No, that’s not true. I know I’ve made him mad, but not as Vixen…

My blood runs cold.

No! There’s no way!

“Jace might be a little crazy, but Kolson makes him look like a kitten, dear sister,” he says before he slips out the door, leaving me standing wide-eyed, staring at the space he’d just occupied.

I’d wanted to be alone, but now that I am, I’m not sure it was a great idea. The room spins as the reality of what he just said sinks in.

Isaac knows.

Jace takes off like a bat out of hell, muttering and stomping like a scorned child, and I guess that’s kind of what just happened.

It’s no secret how much we've enjoyed watching Vixen fight for years now. The growth she’s experienced…

Just thinking about it makes my cock ache. Unlike my brothers, I don’t care to fuck every pretty face in the club. Actually, I prefer to stay away from most of them.

Business and pleasure and all of that.

Except Vixen. She was always the exception, even before she was our best fighter. I knew well enough to stay away, though, and I did a pretty good job of keeping Jace away too.

Kolson might fuck most of the girls that threw themselves at him here, but he knew better than to fuck our star, even if he really fucking wanted to.

Is that why I stopped Jace, because I wanted her?

It doesn’t feel like the reason, and if it were, then why wouldn’t I have simply picked up where he left off? I had the opening.

In all honesty, Jace had more than enough time to have his fun, and usually I would have had no problem letting him. Kol had only just sent me to collect Jace, and I bet my entire book collection, manga included, he wouldn’t have lasted more than two minutes.

This is becoming a problem; well, Jace is becoming a problem, and little does he or Kolson know that it’s for the same girl.

I wasn’t sure, not until today, until I walked in and saw that same look in her eyes, haunted and hardened. A look I’m all too familiar with.

I’d planted a camera in her room last weekend, saw her icing her head and the toned body she hides behind those baggy clothes, but that didn’t mean this is what she was doing.

In fact, there were about a dozen other things that made much more sense than our new sister being our prized fighter in our illegal underground fighting ring.

Now that I know, it’s hard to believe I missed it. They’re very different, yet also the same.

The bruises, baggy clothes, ability to throw a punch, and, of course, her desperate need to elude us each week.

Memories of the late-night encounter Jace had with Zela play in my head as I head back to the box. I hear Kolson’s anger exploding in the way of broken glass and whatever else it is that’s crashing around upstairs.

To say he’s unhappy with my ability to track down our sister would be an understatement.

I’ll let him throw his tantrum, and then we can talk after. I’m unsure how he will take the news, and while I’m uncertain of a lot of things tonight, one thing I know for sure is that we can’t tell Jace.

Jace already wants to fuck me both as his ‘sister’ and as Vixen; somehow, I can’t imagine it will be better if he knows we're one and the same.
