I look at Halston over her body.

His hand is on her thigh. His thumb rests near the crease of her hip, not moving.

Waiting.

Always waiting until he knows she wants him there.

“Liv,” I say.

Her eyes find mine.

“You still want this?”

Then . . .

Her throat moves as she swallows.

“Yes.”

“Words for him too.”

Her gaze slides to Halston.

The confidence leaves her face for one exposed second, and what’s under it nearly takes me apart. Want. Nerves. Love so big she doesn’t know where to put it.

“Yes,” she whispers to him. “I want you too.”

Halston’s jaw flexes.

Then he bends and kisses the inside of her thigh.

Liv’s eyes close.

I catch her chin and bring her back to me. “Stay with us.”

Her eyes open again.

I lower my mouth to hers.

The kiss is slow at first. Tender. Then her hand comes up around the back of my neck, and she pulls me closer with a need that split makes my control down the center. I give her my tongue. She takes it. Her thighs shift open for Halston, and I feel her gasp into my mouth as his lips move higher.

I pull back just enough to look at him.

“Get your mouth on her pussy.”

Liv makes a sound.

Halston’s eyes go darker.

He looks at her. “Do you want that?”

She nods, frantic.

“Words,” he says.
