“You’ll find out soon enough.” And he did.
After a long ride, which could have been shorter if he had just listened to my directions instead of arguing with them, we arrived at one of the best theater venues in LA, which was our first stop for the night.
“You’re serious?” Camilo gaped at me after taking off his helmet.
Smiling like a jackass, I nodded. “Fuck yeah,” I said while looking at the huge billboard displaying tonight’s show. “I bet you haven’t been to the ballet lately.” I turned to face Camilo in time to catch the most precious smile ever spreading on his face.
He got off his bike and moved to me. “You’re taking me to the ballet now?”
I placed my hands on his chest and straightened the fabric of his shirt, which was crumpled from me fisting it the whole ride here. “I am.” I checked my watch. “And we better get moving, or we’ll be locked outside.” I read online that they locked the doors once the show started.
Camilo bit on his bottom lip before he leaned in and kissed me. As his lips moved along mine, he laced our fingers together, and once our mouths parted, he made me run with him so we wouldn’t be late. We were literally the last to arrive at the theater, and the second we took our front-row seats, the lights went off, and the first dancer came onstage. It was the same dancer we went to see years ago, Lexus Lloyd, who I knew Camilo adored. And while the show was different, as were the group performing and the settings, my feelings for Camilo weren’t, and I still felt the same irrational love for him as I did back then. If not stronger. Back then was the first time I realized I was in love with him, and while many things had happened since, the butterflies I felt just from sitting next to him hadn’t left.
I turned to glance at Camilo, who was all but fixated on the stage and dancers. The light from the stage reflected in his eyes, and my heart warmed with knowing he was having fun. And while I couldn’t really say ballet had grown on me, I definitely had fun because he did, and that meant everything to me. My only problem with the show was that principal dancer, who only seemed to get hotter over the years, but that was a different matter…
Strolling out of the theater holding hands, I leaned against him and enjoyed the chilly night air that hit my face while Camilo went on explaining tonight’s show. I lost track when he mentioned a Nutcracker, and my dirty mind immediately went to his nuts and how much I was dying to suck on them—
“You’re not listening, are you?” Camilo chuckled while nudging me a bit closer.
“Nah, you lost me at nuts.”
“You’re a hopeless case.”
“A hopeless case you can’t live without.”
“True.” He kissed the top of my head. “Wanna grab something to eat before we go home?”
“Go home? Who said anything about going home?” We reached his bike, and I took my helmet from his hand.
“So where are we going?”
“Someplace special.” I put the helmet on when he crowded me against the bike.
“Care to elaborate?”
Pursing my lips together, I shook my head. “Nah.” I then climbed on top of the bike and grabbed the handles. “When will you teach me to ride this monster?”
Camilo didn’t hesitate before climbing on behind me, and my skin prickled as I felt his strong body pressing to my back.
“Do you mean it?” He covered my hands with his before moving us together to hold the clutch. “Or are you just trying to turn me on?”
With how close he was, I could feel his dick pressing into my ass. Knowing I affected him this easily made me giddy, and I smirked before glancing at him over my shoulder. Sure, my half helmet made me look like a goof, but Camilo said more than once I was adorable with it.
“Maybe both?”
“Fine.” He dropped his hands and hugged me. “I’ll teach you how to ride if you tell me where we’re going.”
“Bachata.”
“Bachata?”
“We’re going to dance bachata.”
Diesel
When Shay-Lee said we were going to dance bachata, I half thought he was joking. Now, making our way inside a nightclub with Latin music booming through the speakers, I realized he was damn serious. Holding hands, Shay-Lee led the way through a long, dark hall until we reached a large space. The place was sexy AF, with good music, an amazing vibe, and hot people moving on the dance floor to the sexy sounds of bachata, which was named the hottest dance in the world for a damn good reason.
“Let’s have a few shots before you teach me how to move,” Shay-Lee purred, already pulling me toward the bar, where he asked for four shots of tequila.
