“Good.” He planted another soft kiss on my lips before letting me go. I walked backward, still holding his hand until his arm couldn’t stretch any more, and he had to let go.

“So when will I see you again?” he asked as I climbed into the driver’s seat. As soon as I closed the door, he leaned his body through the open window.

“We can have lunch on Monday?”

He shook his head. “That’s not soon enough.”

God, did this boy know what to say.

“I have practice before first period. If you meet me there, we can walk to school after.”

“Good.” He leaned forward and stole another sweet kiss that was too short for my taste. He then pushed back and tapped my car. “Good night, Miles.”

He is going to be the end of me.

Chapter 9

Andrei

Watching Miles ride was a sight for sore eyes. His body moved with Blanc consistently in every jump, turn, or move. The way the two of them communicated without Miles saying a word was beyond me. I didn’t know anything about equestrians, but I did know that to work with animals, you needed to understand them and feel them, and I had no doubts Miles was as attentive a listener to his horse as he was to me, probably even more.

I recalled our time on the shore last night, how I told him my story while he sat beside me and listened. I may have said what I did to see if he’d shy away, but after seeing the way he looked at me, with not even a shred of doubt? I knew he was different. There was something about Miles that attracted me to him from the first moment I saw him. Sure, he was drop-dead gorgeous, but it was deeper than that. I felt relaxed and calm when I was near him, like I could be myself or even a better version of myself.

I took the bus to get here earlier than needed. The guys were still asleep when I left home. They had no reason to be at school an hour and a half before the first period. Besides that, after yesterday, I thought it would be wiser to put a bit of distance between Diesel and Miles. At least until I knew where this whole thing would take us.

After Miles left yesterday, I sat down and talked with Diesel. As I expected, it didn’t go well. When it came to our family, Diesel didn’t like “intruders.” Yeah, that’s what he called Miles, an intruder. And let’s just say this was one of the nicer words he used to describe him. Diesel trusted no one and suspected everyone. It wasn’t the first time he’d been hostile toward guys I’d dated. I also knew there was not much I could do at this point. Miles and I only agreed on dating, and you only went on one date, Andrei, so the best thing would be to wait and see how everything developed.

“Hey there,” Miles said as he got off the saddle and made his way toward me with the reins in his hands. Today he wore a pair of black riding breeches and a matching polo shirt. His outfit emphasized his long and elegant body, and I remembered how good those long legs felt wrapped around me yesterday. In fact, I recalled that memory very clearly, in the shower this morning, when I jerked off to the thought of his perfect body rubbing against mine. I woke up with my cock harder than steel and aching for relief. Thankfully, the shower was unoccupied, and no one bothered me as I rubbed one out. Living with four other dudes could get crowded.

“What were you thinking about?” His aquamarine eyes sparkled like gems in the sunlight.

“You.”

“Aren’t you sweet.” He leaned over the white fence separating us.

“Only when it comes to you.” I winked my cheesiness away and tried to hold it together when an adorable blush covered his cheeks.

“I’m done with practice, so I’ll put Blanc in his stables.”

“Cool, then we can go to class?”

“I still need to take a shower before, but if you don’t mind waiting?”

Good, now I’d have images of Miles taking a shower in my head. Something made me believe he wasn’t as experienced as me, so it would be wiser to take it as slow as possible. Willpower, work your magic.

“Sure, I’ll wait for you here.”

“Perfect.” A huge smile spread on his beautiful face, making him look like sunshine. He leaned forward and pressed a small kiss to my lips before walking away with the cutest blush known to mankind, and his perfect bubble butt bouncing with each step he took in those tight pants.

Yeah, I’m screwed.

“What’s up with the smile, Romeo?” Diesel asked and slapped the back of my head before sliding down on the open seat behind me.

I didn’t know if it was some sort of a strategy or just plain stupidity, but someone in the administration thought it was a brilliant idea to put all four of us in the same class. Hadn’t they heard about Divide and Conquer? No? Well, it’s their problem, not ours.

“Am I not allowed to be happy?” I turned in my seat to face my best friend, who as always, was dressed in oversized clothes. He wore a striped long-sleeved shirt and a pair of baggy dark jeans and his favorite black sneakers. Diesel’s one true love was sneakers.
