Daniel.
Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.
Daniel was home, and he was on his way here.
I looked down at where my pants were shoved to my knees, and Miles was still sucking my cock.
“Fuck, Miles, get up.” I tapped his shoulder, trying to move him, but instead of doing so, he lifted his hands and grabbed my hips, urging me to thrust faster. Fuck no.
“S-Stop,” I mouthed while trying to push back as I heard steps coming down the hall, “Miles. Stop!” I whispered and looked over my shoulder to where we left the door to the office open.
“Elliot, darling, make me that jasmine tea I like?” His voice was so close, and I knew it was a matter of seconds before he walked in on us.
I’m going to die. It wasn’t even a joke. My heart raced so fast it felt like I was having a heart attack, and when I saw Miles’s hand moving to grab his own cock? I couldn’t take it anymore. I pushed him away from me with all the force I had in my body. Thankful that I got my dick out of his mouth in one piece when he landed flat on his ass. I tucked myself back in my pants with a shaky hand and zipped myself just as Daniel stepped into his office.
“Boys.” He sounded surprised, and my eyes darted toward Miles, who was still on the floor, dressed. Thank God for that.
And then, as if what had happened until now wasn’t enough, he smiled.
There I was, about to die on the spot out of fear my boyfriend’s dad would bust us having sex in his office, and Miles was smiling like it was one big game. Perhaps, that’s what it was for him, what I was for him. A game.
With my back to him, I had no doubts Daniel knew exactly what he’d walked in on. The silence that spread around us was enough. I was humiliated, ashamed, and furious. The room was running out of air, and I could hardly breathe. Before I knew it, I bolted out of there, bumping Daniel’s shoulder in my escape. I didn’t even stop when Elliot came into view. Instead, I ran through the main door to where my car was parked.
“Andrei!” Miles called out my name with a choked breath as I tried to find the right key to open my car. I hated how clumsy I was with my right hand, and it only worsened with how I trembled with rage.
“Hey, Andrei,” he said again, touching my shoulder, but I pushed away from his touch.
“Okay, Jeez.” He sighed and leaned his back against my car with his arms crossed. “You fled from there like you were on fire.”
“Are you for real?” I finally looked at him, and the fury in my eyes made him drop his smile. Arrogance was replaced with concern. “You think it’s a joke? You think I’m a joke?” I tried to keep my voice down, knowing very well that his parents were in the house, but it was hard, and my rage easily slipped through my words.
“I didn’t mean to upset you.” His lower lip trembled. “I’m sorry.”
“Upset me?” I snapped. “You think I’m upset? I’m furious, Miles! Upset doesn’t even begin to describe how I feel!”
I turned around so I wouldn’t have to face him as I tried to cool myself down.
His arms came to hug me from behind, and he pressed his head against my back. “I’m sorry, Andrei. I love you. It was just sex. I thought you wanted it too.”
His words felt like a knife in my back. I grabbed his hands and moved them away from me before I turned to look at him.
“You’re crazy if you think it was just sex,” I shouted before I pressed my fist to my mouth and took a breath. “I-I just can’t deal with you right now. Okay?”
“What do you mean?” His voice broke, and only now did I notice the tears running down his face. “Andrei, I’m sorry.” He moved to step closer, but I stopped him and got into my car, shutting the door behind me.
“Andrei.” He cried my name as he held on to my open window. “Please, I’m sorry. I’ll do anything. I didn’t mean to. I didn’t think—”
“Yeah. That’s the problem. You didn’t think. And right now, I don’t think I can stand the sight of you.” I knew my words were cruel. I saw their impact on Miles’s tormented face, but I knew that if I stayed, I’d only say things I’d regret. So instead of getting out of the car and hugging him, kissing his tears away, I turned on my engine. Miles seemed to know I wasn’t about to change my mind because he stepped away so I wouldn’t run over his feet when I drove out of there.
Miles
Everything was in a blur.
Nothing made sense.
One minute Andrei loved me, and the next, he told me he couldn’t stand the sight of me. No.
He shouted. He screamed those cruel words at my face as if I were nothing to him, and then he drove away like I really was nothing. Why would he act like that when all I wanted was for him to see how much I loved him? Couldn’t he see it? Couldn’t he feel it?
