“What is it?” he barks out as he sits back at his desk.

“I have a favor. It’s personal, and I need to know if it will leave this room.” I cross my arms over my chest as he spins in his chair to look at me.

“Depends on the favor. I am loyal to this club first.”

I tense. This might be asking too much from him then.

“Aragon has been going after my old lady. I want to track him, and I need help doing that.”

The silence hangs in the air, the only sounds coming from the machines around us. He studies me. I study him. Neither of us is willing to make a move.

“Is this just about your girl? Jealousy doesn’t look good on you, Yak.”

I grimace. “It’s not jealousy. Fucker has a hard-on for her. Cornered her in the kitchen. I don’t like how he won’t leave her alone even though she is mine.”

His face changes. “When did he corner her?”

“During the last run.”

He turns and starts typing. The screen pulls up a view of the kitchen. It fast-forwards as I see Julie enter. Then Aragon does. I watch the whole scene go down, my fists clenching. Predator turns to face me, anger apparent on his face as well.

“That’s a breach of trust right there. I’ll help you do whatever you need. Do you need me to get cameras in her place? I’ll bug her office too. We will have someone watching her twenty-four seven.”

I relax a little at seeing his response. If he was working with Aragon, he wouldn’t be so angry right now, right? Or is this all an act?

My gut says it’s not.

“I have her place covered and guards at her work. I’m more thinking of a way to track him. Is there a way for us to do that?”

He spins, typing before a map pulls up. “That red dot is him. He’s in the weight room right now.”

I stare at the map and see lots of dots, including one in this office.

“You’re tracking all of us,” I say finally.

“I am. It’s part of the job. It’s only phones though, so if he ditches his phone, we won’t be able to track him.”

I frown. “He rides his bike even in the cold, right?”

“Much like you, yes.”

I glare at him. “I’m nothing like that prick.”

“We all have commonalities if we look hard enough. Are you suggesting we track his bike?”

This is the test. If he says no or tells Aragon, we will know for sure.

“Yeah, I am.”

“Done. I’ll get it placed tonight. He will never know. I’ll monitor it myself and create an alert for your girl’s neighborhood and work. Brothers are supposed to respect the code. He’s already broken it, so I have no issues doing what we have to.” Predator stands.

“I appreciate that, and I appreciate your discretion.”

He chuckles. “Half the club is already on the fence about you. You didn’t do yourself any favors playing nepo baby.”

I shrug. “I didn’t ask for that. Yooper demanded it.”

“It doesn’t help that you can’t keep your mouth shut. You do know that most of the guys find you quite annoying.”
