“I got you a gift, but it’s at home. If I knew—”

“I told you, just being here with you is everything I need.”

He might say that, but I still feel bad.

“Open it,” he encourages.

My hands tremble as I carefully undo the pretty wrapping.

“I’ve never seen her open anything that delicately,” Garrett points out, but I ignore him and keep going until I reveal a jewelry box.

I glance up at Calvin before flipping it open.

“Shut up.” She laughs. “I’m not taking you upstairs to bang your brains out.”

“That’s a real shame.”

“You’re insatiable.”

“It’s you. I can’t help it. I want you every single second of every single day.”

When she stops at a half-opened door, her cheeks are red.

I will never get bored of seeing her blush like that.

“No sex,” she warns.

“Okay,” I agree, stepping so close our chests brush. “What about fingering?” Her lips purse. “Oral?”

Her eyes roll as she shakes her head. “You’re a nightmare,” she mutters, reaching up on her toes to brush her lips against mine. “That’s all you’re getting,” she tells me before pushing the door open and walking inside.

I follow but quickly freeze. “Oh wow, this is…”
