Saheime kissed me in front of his people–our people and swung me around in his arms.

“Yeah!” He shouted.

I laughed, glad that he was excited. He held me while I finished the song. The concert ended and I received more kisses.

“I love you.” Saheime said when we were finally alone in my dressing room.

“I love you, too.

Saheime’s phone rang and he answered it. “It’s Ω11.” He said.

I turned, watching him, and hoped that everything was okay.

“Okay. I’m on my way.” He looked at me. “I need to go back to the shop for a rescue.”

“Who is it?” I asked.

“She said it’s classified. Apparently, I’ll need guards with me. You stay here since it definitely doesn’t seem safe.”

I nodded. He kissed me and called my security team to take his place. I dressed quickly and hoped that everything was okay.

What could it possibly be?

I’d learned a lot about Ω11 and its origin story since I’d met Naomi. She was a queen in the wolven realm with two wolf mates. She opened a few businesses after they were mated with the first one being a daycare. Seeing that the need for help extended beyond that, she started Ω11 where she gets to put the focus on the things that are important. When Omegas need help, there should be someone there to answer the call no matter where they are.

That’s what made the call to Saheime even more important. Someone was in danger and needed his help. I hoped he got there in time. I’d been on the other end of that call and it’s frightening to think what would happen if they weren’t there.

For now, I just hoped my mate was able to get to her. Tonight when he was home, he’d tell me everything about it.

Get him there, Goddess Speed.

An hour later, I got a message from him.

Saheime: I got her. She’s safe for now. I’m safe. I’ll be home a bit late, but I'll keep you in the loop. I love you.

Me: I love you, too

Safe at home, I went straight to my den and into my nest. I needed to be surrounded by Saheime’s scent until he was back. Knowing that he was safe allowed me to rest. I dreamed of brown Elven babies and how much they looked like both of us.

This was my happily ever after.
