“Hmm, good point.” I pursed my lips. “A silver fox threesome—that sounds kind of hot.”

“Oh, it is.” He winked.

I stared at him. “Wait, you’ve had one?”

His lips quirked and he half-shrugged, eyes dancing with mischief. “Maybe.”

“What? Do tell!”

“You want details?” He laughed and bumped me with his shoulder. “Perv.”

“Uh, yeah? Are you surprised?”

“No, not really.”

“Didn’t think so.” I pushed myself to my feet, hiding a wince. “Let’s go downstairs and get some water, and then you can fill me in on your pervy past.”

Garrett chuckled as he got up. “Sounds like a deal.”

I offered him a pair of sweats, which he put on, and I put on a pair myself. Then we wandered downstairs to the kitchen. With ice water in hand, we moved into the living room.

Maybe it was stupid, but something warm rushed through me when Garrett put his arm around my shoulders and pulled me in close. It had been so long since I’d experienced any kind of intimacy outside of sex, I almost gave a happy sigh as I leaned into his side.

“So.” He sipped his water and put the glass on an end table coaster. “You really want to know about things I’ve done with other people?”

“I do, yes.” I twisted around just enough to be able to look at him without pulling away or pissing off a cranky muscle. “That silver fox threesome sounds hot.”

Garrett blushed bright. “It, um… It was pretty hot. The thing is, I didn’t figure out I was bi until after I was married. So, when I suddenly found myself single again—I mean, it’s never too late to do a little experimenting, is it?”

“No, definitely not.” I slid a hand up his chest. “So you had a post-divorce slutty phase?”

The laugh that burst out of him was cuter than it had any right to be. “I guess you could call it that, yeah?” He shrugged, running his fingers along my forearm. “I wasn’t ready to get into anything serious, but I wanted to experience some things I hadn’t before.”

I tilted my head. “How old were you the first time you were with a man?”

“Forty-four.”

“Really?”

He nodded, a hint of a blush in his cheeks as he avoided my eyes. “The first eighteen months or so after the divorce, my libido was gone. My life was just so…” He paused, then shook his head. “Sex wasn’t high on my agenda, let’s put it that way. But then I started putting out feelers. Did the hookup app thing. Even went to some clubs. That’s how the threesome happened.”

“You met them at a club?”

“Yep. I was dancing with a guy and getting a bit hot and heavy with him. Then he told me his husband was there and wanted to take us both home.”

“Wow.” I laughed. “That must’ve been a surprise.”

“Oh, it was!” Garrett chuckled. “Next thing I know, we’re heading back to their place.”

“And it was good?”

“It was amazing.” He actually shivered. “Like it had literally been maybe six months since the first time I’d slept with a guy. Then there I was, on my hands and knees with one guy fucking my mouth and another fucking my ass.”

My breath actually stuttered as that mental image flashed through my mind. “That must’ve been amazing.”

“Uh-huh. That whole night was, hands down, the best experience of my, uh… my slutty phase.”

I laced our fingers together and grinned. “I bet it was. Is that the only threesome you’ve ever had?”
