Wolfgang got onto his haunches and rode Sam, who couldn’t have controlled himself if he’d tried. Sam grasped hold of Wolfie’s hands as he made the bed shake. He never wanted the moment to end.
“Fuck. Wolfgang.”
Sam arched his body as the orgasm exploded within him. The exquisite white-hot pain flooding his system. All the while Wolfgang kept the pace, not stopping until Sam opened his eyes.
Then he threw himself down on the bed. Both panting and enjoying the afterglow that only really good sex can bring.
Wolfgang ran his hand on Sam’s skin that juddered at his touch.
They lay in silence. The afterglow washed over Sam.
“I don’t want to go home,” Wolfgang said.
Sam turned to face him. “Me either.”
“I can’t leave her though.”
Sam screwed his eyes shut. The real world was unwelcome right now.
“Sam…”
“What do you want me to say?”
He opened his eyes to see a forlorn looking Wolfgang staring back at him.
“I’m being a coward. I know it. I suppose I want you to say you understand.”
Sam fell onto his back and stared up at the ceiling.
“In honesty, no I don’t understand,” he said. “You’re willing to lie to everyone and be unhappy. And for what?”
“I can’t let my parents down.”
“Then there’s nothing else to say,” Sam replied. “Can we have the rest of tonight though?”
Wolfgang smiled and wrapped his arms around Sam.
It was unfair. Tears stung at Sam’s eyes as he nuzzled against Wolfgang’s chest.
But he would make the most of the time they did have. Of that he was sure.
EIGHTEEN
Sam opened his eyes, unsure of where he was. The furnishing were certainly not from the room he’d occupied for the last few weeks. Then he remembered the night before. Parts of his body ached like never before.
He stretched and turned to face Wolfgang. His side of the bed lay empty.
With a grin, Sam got up to surprise Wolfie in the shower. The bubble hadn’t burst yet. He dashed into the bedroom to find a note attached to the mirror. His stomach dropped as he ripped it open. He wouldn’t do this, would he?
S, I am weak and I know you will judge me. I couldn’t stand to say goodbye to you. I am so in love with you but I cannot live like you want me to. I am so sorry and I hope that you will be able to remember me with fondness one day, as I will you.
All my love, W x
Sam held on to the basin to steady himself. The emotions rushing around him threatened to totally take control. Sam would not cry in the room that Wolfgang had paid for to get his last bit of fun.
With a purpose that scared even himself, he threw his clothes on and stormed out of that hotel. He ran through the streets ofValencia. His flight wasn’t until the afternoon but he didn’t want to spend a minute longer in this town than he had to.
I’d rather sit in the departure lounge.
