Storm’s men dragged the two unconscious men away, staying in the shadows of the trees.

Storm and Tornado then came over.

“So what is this all about?With Big Mac involved I mean.”Storm asked.

“Apparently, Ricco owes Big Mac money and I think he made promises he can’t keep.”

“What kind of promises?”Tornado asked.

Jelly Bean shrugged.“Something about an intro to the cartel and maybe a connection?I am not real sure.Benzo was really nervous about this and you all know how demanding Mac can be.He threatened Ricco’s life.We got Benny knocked out.He’s in the lighthouse.”

At a motion from Storm, two men took off and went up the steps to the lighthouse.

Now a street man they all called Raggo spoke up, “I think we got more trouble coming.”

Storm snapped his head up to ask, “What did you see?”

“I think Big Mac is coming back sooner than he said he would,” Raggo told them.“His men are scattering out and moving in.”

Storm growled softly.“Damn.”

The two men came back down the steps.One stepped forward and said, “There’s no one in the lighthouse.”

Jelly Bean snapped her head up.“We just knocked him out a ten minutes ago and he was out cold.”

Then he looked at Jelly.“Can you girls show us exactly where you stashed Benzo?The guys here will take out Big Mac’s men.”

Jelly Bean nodded.“When Mac comes back.he won’t find anyone hanging around here and that will just piss that man off like nobody’s business.Make sure our own people are off the streets when this is over.We don’t want to give Big Mac any targets to display his temper on.”Shaking her head she added, “You all know how that man works.”

Everyone disappeared back into the shadows.

Chapter Nine

Jelly Bean and Rebelturned to head to the Lighthouse.When they got close, Jelly went to the right and Rebel slipped around to the left side.

Peeking through the windows, Jelly Bean found him in one of the bedrooms.He must have hidden somewhere unknown when the men searched for him.
