"You like that? That okay?" he asked, and I surrounded his length as best I could from the position he held me in.

"More," I said, and he fucked my hand while playing with my clit. "I'm close."

"It makes you horny to think I want to do these things to you?"

"Yes."

"Do you like knowing that I'd come all over your tits, and tell you to play with it on your nipples, while I set that vibrator to a hum, and sucked on your clit myself?"

"Fuck, Gabe—"

"Fuck, sir."

I came hard enough to see stars in our still dark room.

"Holy shit," he said behind me, his thrusts insistent in my hand. "You come so perfectly in my arms."

I still trembled as his fingers left my clit. His hand wrapped around mine on his cock, and he thrust into our joined hands a few times before he came with a strangled moan.

I hadn't come in my pants since I was a teenager, but the moment I had just shared with Lina had painstakingly deconstructed each layer of maturity I'd ever thought I had in me. I was thirty-three years old, and I had devolved into a young buck with just a few whispered words.

"Jesus," I said. I released her neck and put a hand on her hip, catching my breath. I closed my eyes. "Was that okay?"

"Yes, sir."

I groaned. "Don't tease me. I'm serious."

"It was more than okay. It was great." She turned around and faced me. She put a hand on my face, and my heart finally began to slow down. "Thank you."

I frowned. "Don't thank me, either. I didn't do it for you— I wasn't being generous. I couldn't help myself."

"I wanted it, too. Don't forget." Her thumb caressed my cheek. "And I love that I get to have this little secret, for the years ahead."

A smile curled my lips. "That we had this stolen moment, when we faked a romance?"

"That I know what my good friend, good guy Gabriel Sotomayor is like in bed."

I scoffed. "You know nothing yet."

The words escaped my lips before I could examine them, and now my face warmed up in response.

Lina laughed. "I have an idea of what you're like. And I'll treasure it."

The frown hadn't left my face, and I gazed at Lina in the dim light of the early morning. "This part— my attraction. That isn't fake. It's important to me that you know that."

Her grin softened, her eyes still and bright on mine. "Thank you."

And, because I was more selfish than I wanted anyone to ever know, I gave her a kiss on the corner of her lips.

"Let's get up before I think too hard about how difficult it'll be to go back to being friends with you."

"We're becoming stronger friends, that's all— ones that had to get some things out of their systems. Friends who might one day look for something more… maybe even with each other."

I nodded, but the smirk on my face was how I let it be known that I doubted I had her out of my system yet.

Whispered words reached us from the hallway, steps in the direction of the stairs.

"We need to talk." I caressed her face in the same way she had mine. "On our walk tonight, okay?"
