“You bet’ not,” Talid said, chilling with his son, Khalid, who was so tall now and just as mannish.

“Please don’t, Mom.” Khalid shook his head, playing his handheld game.

Shardaya winked at her husband as we all continued to dance.

“Nah, you know better.” Ayan chided Kindra playfully when she tried to make him stand up.

“I know you’re a lap dance kind of man.” She smirked down at him, and he mirrored her gesture lovingly.

Ayan had already begun to turn over a new leaf before Kindra, but I think having someone to love and love him back, without that internal competition, gave him that final push.

He’d quit boxing, telling Rakim that the sport was tainted at this point. He stated he might return in a few years, but for now, he needed a break from it.

As for his baby mama, LaMia, she was still a hating ass bitch, but thankfully, her anger was now directed toward Kindra. According to Kindra, she gave them problems anytime they went to get AJ and Ayanna.

Kindra also told me that she initially wanted to end things with Ayan when LaMia enviously revealed his past abusive ways but he’d been open and honest with her about his changes, making her decide to give them a chance. Now, here they were years later.

I hadn’t seen LaMia in forever, especially now since Ayan had separate parties for his kids, and I was thankful. She’d followed me on social media, most likely to get a glimpse of the one who got away, but as long as she kept her likes and comments virtual and respectful, I didn’t give a damn.

“Facts.” Ayan bobbed his head, kissing Kindra’s hand before she tugged it from him to twirl off.

Pulling my attention from them and past JJ, Julianna, and Divine gagging at their parents dancing on one another, my eyes landed on my handsome husband who was being talked to death by our twins at this point.

He mouthed something, making me saunter over toward him, enjoying the way he drank me in salaciously but lovingly at the same time.

“What did you say?” I asked once I was wedged between his legs.

“I said you gon’ always be able to catch my eye in a room. You the most beautiful, Baby.” His big hand graced my hip that was covered by a sarong.

“Ugh! Yuck!” Romelle and Raine shouted when I bent down to kiss Rakim.

They were the most grown ass three-year-olds.

“Get y’all hating asses from over here then.” Rakim shooed them as if they weren’t already hopping up and running off toward the catered food.

Once Rakim placed a sleeping Ryson onto the blanket beside him, I straddled his lap.

“How does it feel to be married to the most beautiful?” I questioned playfully as his hands massaged my ass.

“Amazing ’cause I own it.”

“That you do.” I spoke against his lips.
