She hisses in an excited breath, and an insane bout of pride fills my chest. Because I’m the one who gets to see her like this, the one who gets to fulfill all her fantasies.
And I’d really like to keep it that way.
Chapter 29
Monty
Tuesday morning I wake up feeling rejuvenated. And hard. Last night was incredible. I never considered using a mask in the bedroom and now I’m racking my brain for other new things to try with Penny.
And waiting for Penny to tell me everything she still wants to try. I pull out my phone and smile as I stare at the texts we exchanged last night.
Me: Was tonight okay Xuxuzinho?
Penny: I loved every second of it.
Me: I wasn’t too rough?
Penny: You were perfect. I can barely keep my eyes open now though.
Me: Okay sweet dreams, Penelope Darling.
Penny: Oh they’ll definitely be dirty ones.
Penny: Good night Monty.
I shoot her a new one.
Me: Good Morning, Xuxuzinho. I’m about to go pump out my first thousand words.
Penny: So eager for your reward.
Me: Make that list.
“Amor!” Vovo’s voice accompanies a knock on my door.
I clear my throat and think of cow manure so I can get rid of this perpetual hard-on. “Yes?”
“Oh good, you’re awake,” she says from behind the door. I know that won’t last long though so I adjust myself and throw on sweats before heading for the door.
“I am now,” I say to the petite woman I love dearly.
She beams up at me, her gray hair pulled back. “Would you go to the farm with me to get flowers this morning?”
“The Darlings’ farm?”
She nods, a twinkle in her eye. “My sunflowers died and I need some gourds, too.”
I shrug. I really do need to write today, and not just because I want my reward from Penny, but I’ll never tell Vovo no. “Of course. Just let me know what time you want to go.”
She stares at me. “Now?”
I chuff out a laugh and nod. “Okay, let me get dressed.”

“I don’t like how that cow is watching me,” Vovo grumbles as we walk arm in arm down the gravel driveway toward the white tent Gail sets up in the fall to sell flowers and other decor.
“Daisy isn’t looking at you.” I chuckle. “She’s looking at all the cookies you made me bring.”
