Jayla pushed againstBeau’s chest.“Can I get up now?”

Beau tightened his grip on her.“Why?”

“Because I’d like to get to town before it gets dark.”

“You’re not leaving, Jayla.First of all, we’re here to keep you safe.We still don’t know where the threats coming from, and until we do, you’re stuck with us.Secondly, we know we fucked up, but we would like to start over if possible?”Diego waited.

Jayla’s body stiffened.“Start over?We never began.”

Beau cupped her cheek to bring her gaze to his.“Then let’s begin now.Diego and I would like very much to get to know you.”

“Get to know me, how?”Her eyes narrowed suspiciously.

“We’ve both been attracted to you from the start, and we’ve seen the way you look at us.I would regret not giving us a chance.How about you?”

“Let me get this straight.You both want me?You want to have a three-person sexual relationship with me?Together?”

Diego gripped her leg to slip off her tennis shoes and squeezed her foot.“Yes.”

Jayla jerked against Beau and shrieked in laughter when Diego started pressing his thumbs into her instep.She tried to push him away, but he just grinned at her and kept massaging.

“Diego...”She giggled.“Stop.I don’t like to be tickled.”

Diego grinned.“That’s good to know.”

She relaxed when he let go of her foot.Both men watched her silently.“I have to admit I don’t trust this.I’m the only woman around, and you’re healthy men.You need to think about that.If another woman was here, would she have your interest?”

Beau sighed.“I can understand why you’re distrustful of us.We ran hot and then cold and now hot again, but do you really think we’re that shallow?Would the director entrust you to us if he didn’t trust us to keep you safe?”

Jayla shrugged.“I don’t know.I don’t know the man.”

Diego frowned.“What do you mean?He’s your godfather.”

Jayla shredded the tissue in her hands.“I’ve already told you how he sent me away.I was grieving, and he took me from the only security I had left.I spent more holidays by myself than I did with him.He came to see me in the hospital after the kidnapping, but I was still out of it, we didn’t really talk.Besides, there’s nothing to say.Now that I’m done with college, I’ll move on with my life, and we’ll probably never see each other again.”

Diego swiped a tear from her cheek, she hadn’t known it was there.“I’m sorry.He didn’t give us any personal information.I’ve got to tell you, the way he acted showed he cared a lot.”

Jayla shrugged.“It doesn’t matter anymore.”

Fortunately, the men decided to leave it alone for now.

Beau’s hand slid up and down her arm.“So, are you going to give us another chance?”

“You both really want a relationship with me?”She continued when they both nodded.“How exactly does one work with two men and one woman?”

Several pictures flashed through her mind of the three of them together.Could she really do it?Give them a chance?She just couldn’t seem to wrap her head around the thought of dating two men at the same time and together.She’d never heard about that happening before.

“Just like any other relationship.You just get to deal with two of us instead of one.”

“Lucky me.”
