Fuck, I’m so in love with her it’s not even funny.
“Never thought I’d see the day.” A voice says from next to me and I reluctantly drag my eyes away from my woman to frown at my brother.
“What?”
“That you’d be just as whipped as the rest of us,” Hunter says, tilting his beer in the direction of the bar.
I open my mouth to deny his statement but quickly snap it shut again because he’s right. I’m completely fucking whipped. “Yeah, well, it’s more fun than I thought it’d be.”
He throws his head back and laughs, his hand clapping me on the back. “Good luck, brother. You’re gonna need it.”
I frown at him. “Why’s that?”
Hunter leans back against the wall and crosses his arms as his attention focuses on his fiancé. “There’s not a thing in this world she could ask me for that I wouldn’t give her.”
My frown deepens. “I’m not seeing the problem here.”
Hunter’s eyes flick over to mine briefly before returning to Savannah. He brings his bottle to his lips and takes a gulp before replying. “The problem is that she knows it.”
My eyes trail the length of him, taking in the white tutu and silk sash with the wordBridescrawled across it and I bite my lip to keep from laughing at him.
“Precisely, brother,” he says, already knowing what my next question was going to be. “Soon, it’ll beyoudressed up as the bride under the request of your loving fiancé and there’s not a damn thing you can do about it now.”
I run a hand along my jaw, my lips twitching. “I dunno, man. I think I have a little more dominance than you.”
“We’ll see,” Hunter laughs, clapping me on the back once more before he swans off to find hisgroom.
Bella saunters toward me then, her cheeks still slightly flushed from earlier, and hands me a drink. I take it from her and lean forward, placing a soft kiss against her lips. “Thank you, baby.”
She beams up at me before movement to our right catches her eye and her smile falters slightly. I follow her gaze to Killian as he sits at the table, his wife perched in his lap, but his stormy eyes trained on us, jaw ticking.
He’s brooding and it pisses me off.
I place a hand on Bella’s hip and pull her closer to me, my lips finding her ear. “He’ll get over it.”
“Do you think we should hold off on the touching around him?” She asks me quietly and my head rears back.
“Fuck no. Did he hold off when you were around?”
She shakes her head, but I don’t miss the hint of sadness behind her eyes.
I hate that it’s there at all.
“Exactly. He will get over it. It’s just going to take some getting used to.”
“Okay,” she mutters, still not convinced and I lift her chin with my finger, forcing her eyes up to mine.
“Are you with me, baby?”
“Yes,” she breaths.
“Good.” I place another kiss on her lips. “Now go dance with your friends.” I nod my head in the direction of Savannah, Liv and Daisy who have all made their way onto the dance floor.
Without another word, Bella turns to leave and I watch her walk away before sending a glare of my own to myasshole of a best friend.
