“You like?”

“I do.Gonna have a hard time knowing any other man is watching you.”

She walked up to him and lifted her hand to cup his cheek.“Let them look, knowing you’re the only one who gets to touch.”Charli went up on her toes to lock her lips with his.And when he snaked his hand around the back of her neck with those possessive vibes, she hummed with pleasure. She loved knowing she was his.And he was hers.

When their kiss ended, Roark stared into her eyes while caressing her cheek.“Love you, Charli girl.”

“Love you.”

He smiled and dropped his hand, pocketing his phone.“Griff said the SUV is registered to a company, Tinsley Corporation, so no telling who the driver is.He’s having Tech do some digging into them, see what they’re all about.I’ve never heard of them.”

“Something sounds familiar about that name.Something up north.”Her brow scrunched but the memory eluded her.

“Don’t stress. If you remember, let me know. You ready?”

“Let me grab my wallet then we can go.”Charli tucked the leather wallet and phone case into her pocket.“You want to drive the Nova?”She looked down at herself.“Not great riding attire.”

“Love to.”

Moments later they were cruising along the backroads around Eden then connected to the highway to take them over to Twin Falls.

“The brewery is near the Snake River Canyon rim, so, aptly named Canyon Rim Brewery.A lot of expansion with eateries and shops. And not just there, but throughout the entire Magic Valley. There’s a great walkway along a portion of the rim.Pretty views.”

“Can’t wait to see it all,” Charli said with eager anticipation.“Been a long time since I’ve done something like this just for fun.”

Roark threaded his fingers with hers and kissed the back of her hand.“Then fun you shall have.”

Once on the freeway, Roark gunned the Nova, and Charli laughed, elation running through her for the first time in years.
