Hunter smiled. “Back at you.”
The man peered at him through black-rimmed glasses and ran his tongue over his top lip. “My section’s over there.” He swung his arm toward the back half of the room.
Jenna Gibson sat staring into a glass of clear liquid, her hair sex-mussed from mousse. Wow! Beyond gorgeous. He pointed. “I’m meeting her.”
The waiter’s bottom lip stuck out and he rolled his eyes. “Too bad.”
“Could you bring me a whiskey sour and get her another of whatever she’s drinking?” Hunter handed over his credit card.
“Anything for you, darling.” The waiter swung his skinny ass from side to side as he sashayed to the bar.
Hunter pulled his shoulders back and strutted to his date. He was about two feet away when her smile unfolded and smashed him in the gut. He placed his backpack on the floor, slid beside her, inhaled her scent, and his cock slapped at his briefs.
“Hi, Hunter,” she said with a sweet smile.
“Hey, Jenna,” he said in his deep seduction voice. “Have you been waiting for very long?”
Her head swayed as she focused her gaze. “I just finished meeting with my agent.” She took a dainty sip. “Kind of. I wasn’t sure you were coming.”
He grabbed her hand. “Meeting you is all I’ve thought about for the last two days.” Her exhale blew across his cheek. Her full lips coated in that sexy shade of red were so damn distracting. “I’m sorry I didn’t confirm earlier. The amount of time I’m spending on FollowMe is insane. And then the taxi ride was a bitch.”
Smokey makeup didn’t disguise her innocent eyes, and he’d swear she was a few years younger than him. Still, sexuality oozed from her, revealing her as far from inexperienced. Besides, he’d read those scenes. A woman that wrote shit like that had to be an animal between the sheets.
He dropped her hand as the waiter set the drinks on the table and gawked. “Thanks,” Hunter said as he willed the guy to leave them alone so that he could seduce his MILF. Five seconds later, they still had an audience. He’d probably been ID’ed. Although he thrived on his fame, at the moment, he needed privacy and Jenna Gibbon’s thighs wrapped around his waist—or his neck. Both sounded delicious. He swallowed a mouthful of saliva.
“You’re Hunter Stone,” the waiter finally said.
He raised a hand. “Guilty as charged.”
The guy leaned on the table and stuck out a hip. “Your Flick’s Underwear pics were so damn hot.”
“Thanks.”
“I have a question about your FollowMe account.”
“Shoot.”
“Is it really you on there, or is it your assistant or your agency?”
Hunter scoffed. “It’s me.”
“So, if we pay to join, we get to talk to you?”
Jenna squirmed and for the first time in years, a date’s feelings took priority over his ego. He needed to be friendly and then move his fan along.
“Yeah, man. Give me a follow. What’s your name?”
“Calvin.”
Hunter flashed his fellow-killer grin, which was more lippy than his lady-killer toothy beam. “Calvin, we’re having a hell of a good time on there. When you subscribe, remind me you met me here, and I’ll send you an extra surprise.”
Calvin puckered his lips and slid his glasses down his nose as he looked Hunter over. He turned a scowl on Jenna. “You better be careful, girl. I’m gonna steal your man right out from under you.”
Hunter rubbed his nose. “Calvin, it’s been fun as hell meeting you. Look for that surprise. Now, if you could give me some time with the lady.” He inclined his chin to a scarlet Jenna.
Their waiter dropped the credit card on the table, winked at Hunter, and pranced away. Once they were alone, Hunter slid close to Jenna and once again inhaled her scent. “How did things go with your agent?”
“Good. She was pleased with what I’ve written so far and thinks she can negotiate more time.”
