He suddenly reaches for my pants and shrugs them off in one pull. “First time I’m losing a bet in my life. But damn, baby.” Helooks between my legs. “You are so fucking worth it. Now, lose the shirt.”
I slip it over my head, and he strips himself of his clothes. I still can’t believe I’m an engaged woman. That’s crazy. And yet… it feels absolutely perfect. This is what was meant to be. And in such a short amount of time, Jordyn’s become my best friend. The future I picture now is the one I want more than anything.
“Now, lie back for me and spread those legs.”
I don’t even get them open before he’s forcing my thighs out with his hips. There’s no holding him back. He sinks inside and my entire body quivers.
“God, it’s so perfect. I’m never going to last.” He pumps in and out slowly, and I lose hold of reality, getting swept up in the feelings. His thumb pressing down on my clit. The pleasure building tight. He gives the sensitive nub a pinch, and I’m the one who doesn’t last. Getting taken into the storm. When I come out of the fog, he’s dropping to my side, pulling me in close as he catches his breath.
“Did you think of where you want to go?”
I didn’t think of anything other than him. “Ask me tomorrow. You are the only thing I’m thinking of tonight.”
His crooked smile melts my heart.
“Maybe I should make you hold out for more until our wedding night.”
“No!” I practically shout.
“Don’t worry, babe.” He chuckles. “If you had agreed, I’d be taking you to the courthouse tomorrow.”
Now, I’m the one chuckling.
I bet he would.

“Church is adjourned unless any of you brothers have any business to bring to the table.” King scans the room.
I slowly rise from my chair. “Yeah, I got something to share.” Everyone’s eyes come to me. “I’m getting married.”
Hollers, whistles, and claps erupt around the room. They probably never thought they’d see the day.
“To that fiery little vixen?” Tank asks.
I smile wide. The one and only. They all clap and whistle louder. My girl has made quite the impression on them, starting on the night of my “arrest.” That’s the night she officially claimed my heart too. Since then, I’ve sunk deeper and deeper in love.
“Gotta say, brother,” Cage states. “Never pictured you as the marrying type. But I’m damn happy it’s my girl’s best friend you’ll be settling down with. She’s cool as shit.”
That she is. She’s going to fit in well around here. She walked through the doors tonight and told every sweetbutt in the room that I was hers and that if she caught them trying to come up to me or even smile in my direction, she’d have them removed from the club in a body bag. I had to pick her up and carry her back to my room to get her ass calmed down. I showed that pussy she’s the only one I want. Made her scream loud so everyone could hear my claiming. After that, she settled in nicely. I left her at the bar with Payton and the girls for a drink, and I’m eager to get back out to her.
“So, when’s the big day?” King asks, clapping me on the back.
“Not set yet. Hoping soon, but it’s up to her.”
I’m still shocked she said yes. It’s not how I’d pictured it all going down. I wasn’t going to propose until I knew she was over her ex and ready for a future with me, but she surprised me. I don’t think it could’ve worked out any better. But as far as the wedding goes, she gets to set the date. As long as my ring is on her finger, there’s no rush.
“Well, this calls for a celebration. Let’s go get this man a drink.”
The guys all pound me on the back, shaking my hand and congratulating me as we exit the room. As soon as we’re in the main hall, I hear her giggle. Chassie’s right where I left her with the girls. Prettiest woman I ever did see. And that laugh could chase away any demon. I stalk right to her, wrapping my arm around her waist and nuzzling in.
“Missed you.” I breathe her in.
“You were only gone for twenty minutes.” She turns her head, giving me access to her lips, and I steal a kiss. Slipping my tongue inside and showing her how much I love her.
“Get a room!” Cage hollers from behind.
