Thankfully he didn’t question. Instead, pulling out of her with a slick, lewd sound. Her legs were not operational. Her head lulled forward, but she knew what she needed. She twisted in his hands, slapping her palms against the counter. Hyacinth stared into the cracked mirror, catching Sabine pressed against the other end.
Austin swiped two fingers through her damp curls, collecting a significant amount of her delight on them. Then he lined himself back up. His gaze lifted in the mirror too, the pair of them stared at Sabine in the reflection.
“I need you to force her out of me,” Hyacinth swallowed over her tongue. Then her gaze lifted to the glistening fingers of his. “What were you planning to do with this?”
“I figured…since you like being stuffed…and stretched?” He brushed between her cheeks with the back of his knuckle. Spreading her cheeks apart until those slick fingers circled her tight ring of muscle. Her eyes rapidly blinked, arms trembling. Hyacinth sank an inch, only her elbows were able to keep her up. Austin sank those two cocks into her while he continued to toy and play with her.He wants me to tell him to do it.
Hyacinth let out a dizzy, pleasure drunk laugh. “Austin, stuff me. Fully. Stretch me.”
He grinned broader, if it were possible, looking at her in the mirror for a moment before driving one of those digits deep in her. Hyacinth forgot how to breath. Her body turned into a coil. So tightly wound it would take just a breath to break it. His hips bucked into her faster, his finger growing more brazen. Hyacinth kicked her legs against the cabinet.Crash. She couldn’t tell if it was the ghost thrashing against the mirror or the storm. Or if it was something wholly outside of that as she lost control. Her body was limp. She was Austin’s fuck toy, just as he was hers. She was his desire, his warm cavern to fill, and his body to use. He was her pleasure, her adaptable creation, and her soul to command. When she told him more, he drove another finger inside her. When she slapped her palms to the counter and told him to stretch her, to stuff her, to makeher bodyfeel it, he obeyed.
And when she finally spoke, her voice a short, breathless rasp, “Austin, fill me. I want to feel you come in me.”
He snapped his hips up against her backside, something warm spilled inside her. Austin painted her insides and she watched in slow, confusing delight…as Sabine disappeared from the mirror. Hyacinth laughed, delirious and half certain she was going to collapse…but she laughed. Because Sabine was gone.
“And all it took was you coming in me,” she snorted.
“Is that good?” Austin fell forward against her, hands slipping against the counters.
“I think that depends on if you think fucking me every day till we get rid of the ghost is a good thing,” she teased, peaking up at him through her sweaty hair that dangled around her face.
Austin nodded rapidly, swallowing down air. “Yeah-yeah…yeah, I think I can do that.”
“You think?” she teased.
Austin sputtered, head falling forward. He left a sloppy kiss to her shoulder cap. “My flower, if you told me to jump off the roof, I’d do it. You telling me to take youeveryday until we find a cure for Sabine? I don’t even need the excuse. You just…tell me. Tell me you want me and I’m yours. For now? Forever. I’m yours, Hyacinth.”
Hyacinth struggled to keep her face off the countertop. With a wheeze, she slid back against him. The pair of them collapsing to the damp tile. Drenched in sweat and other fluids, her head propped up on his arm, she stared at him.
“Austin?”
“Hmm?” He hummed, blinking his eyes back open from his post sex unconsciousness.
“I think—does what you just said? Is that mean you love me?” His mouth opened and shut like a creaky door hinge. Hyacinth licked her lips as she laid a hand against his chest. “Because I don’t know love. I don’t think I’ve been alive long enough to know love. And Sabine, she knew obsession but there’s something else. Deeper in my chest, in my head. But thisfeeling? This fluttering in my chest. I’ve never been more sure in my life that’s love. And it only happens when I see you.”
Austin’s eyes clenched closed as he struggled to get air into his lungs. She could see his jugular tremble as he tried his best. Then, his eyes opened and tears welled in them. They trickled down his cheeks as he engulfed her. The sound of the storm roaring outside, rattling the room and shaking the shudders, was nothing compared to the steady thump of his heart.
“Austin,” she murmured against his shirt, inhaling his scent again. Freshly tilled soil, that metallic rain, and fresh dew drops over a well-loved garden, it filled her lungs with new life. “I love you.”
“I love you too.”
Chapter Thirty-Seven:
Austin
Austinawoketothesweet smell of roasted steaks the day after waking up on the slab. He would have thought he was still dreaming except for the blunt force with which both his other companionslaunchedoff him. Hyacinth bound out of bed, flying with Snuffles hot on her heels. Austin was too groggy for jogging but shuffled after the pair. He slept in patches, constantly waking to check for Sabine. The one time he didn’t catch her lurking out of reach, he found his flowerbangingher head against the mirror.
Of course, he wasn’t even sure that was real.It has to be, right? She said I love you.His heart lurched quickly as he spared a glance back to the bathroom. Right where she told him to fuck her against the counter and he was reminded that, prior to the tentacles and his comfortable cock, that the last time he was regenerated, he had two of them.I forgot that my body regenerates the parts as a whole! His waist was different from his torso and the bottom half came with two. At the time that seemed excessive, so he’d taken one off.
But now maybe I’ll keep them? We’ll see.His stomach growled.First, breakfast.Austin scurried faster after his disappearing flower and their scampering bunny.
Down the stairs, around the bend, and into the kitchen. Melody was in the kitchen, and Austin almost felt disappointed. He glanced back, up toward the stairs when Havershum spoke. “They still slumber.”
“Oh,” Austin murmured.
“Who still slumbers?” Hyacinth asked, plucking Snuffles off the floor.
“Lord and Lady Rosemont,” Havershum answered, floating around the table till he was at the end, staring down Snuffles. “You…young pest. You…”
