For the first time in a few hundred years, he came. Hard, fast, hot against the inside of his pants as he humped the mattress, till he was dizzy. Thankfully, Hyacinth was in the same position as she gasped. Her legs closed around him with a snap and delight flooded his tongue. He lapped it up hungrily. Every drop he worked for and then some as he followed it to the fluttering source. Spearing his tongue inside her, he found a second wave followed the first as she slapped a hand over her mouth. A strangled, pitched sound escaped her with each thrust. Austin fucked her as hard and sharp as one could with a tongue.I’ve got to sew in a stronger tongue. Something with more girth, heavier too.He was already thinking of how to give himself a thicker appendage when she panted, swiping at his skull weakly.
“Enough, Austin, please,” she pleaded and he slipped his tongue out of her. Sweat formed around her face, eyes glassy and lips curled high up on her pretty cheeks. He liked her sex drunk smile. It made her glow differently than her other smiles. “You’re really good at following instructions.”
Austin felt his body heat up rapidly as he slid up her body. Resting his face against her soft tummy, he grinned up at her. “You’reverydelicious. Did that fix the tingle?”
She nodded vigorously, brushing a hand across her brow. “Very much…though...”
“Though?” His face fell.
“You did so good, it’s definitely coming back.” She twirled a fingertip around his temple.
“Oh,” he wheezed, eagerly climbing up her body more till he could steal her lips. Austin kissed her hard at first. Wanting to tell her it was okay to want it, that he was eager to fulfill that needat any moment. That he was made for her, that hecould bemadeexactlyto her desires. Modifications weren’t new for him. He actually enjoyed that part of his existence. Minus certain parts of his anatomy like his torso and head, most of him was replaceable. Including the soft appendage that was slick in his pants. “All you have to do is ask.
“Is it really that simple?” she murmured against his lips. “Ask you to taste me?”
“I’d eat you for breakfast, lunch, and dinner if Lady Rosemont wouldn’t brandish me with a boot.” Austin grinned from ear to ear.
“And…and if I wanted other things?” She blinked up at him, a finger trailing his chest. He stopped it short of his pants, not wanting her to find howexcitedhe was to please her.
“Currently, down for the count,” he confessed with an over-sensitized wince.
Her purple orbs searched his face. “I don’t understand.”
“I may have…came. Too.” The words should have been embarrassing, or maybe he believed it would, but the words flew out of him and no shame burned his chest. She didn’t even seem fazed.
“Oh, but I was not touching you—oh, is your erogenous zone on your head?” Her inquisitive gaze made butterflies from in his chest. Then Austin remembered she said something, actually spoke words to him.A question, in fact, was asked!
“Erogenous?” He gulped down air greedily.
“A place on your body that when touched appropriately creates intense desire. Or tingles.” Her fingers flicked in the air, like a conductor preparing a symphony, all swishes and taps.
“You sound like Smith, making up words and definitions,” Austin teased only to receive a pillow thwacked into the side of him. She swung again with the pillow but missed, throwing the cushion across the room. Austin howled with laughter as he pulled back to sit on his calves. Despite her attack, she was laughing too.It sounds so good, it feels better. I.Feel.Better.Austin finally licked his lips and spoke, “I was, well you were, and then I was—It’s not my head.”
“And so it was the mattress?” She crossed her arms under her chest.
“I like when you tell me what to do.” The words fell out of him and their eyes locked. His chest constricted.I’ve always liked being told what to do. I’ve just never come because of it.
Hyacinth steadily grinned, confidence oozing from her. She shrugged with one shoulder, “That’s good, because I am, howdid our maker describe me when my back was turned? Oh! Yes, headstrong... And I likedtelling youwhat to do.”
Austin felt the heat lick up his insides till he thought he might actually sprout flames like Carl. But then she grabbed him by the shoulders and dragged him in for another kiss.
Chapter Twenty-One:
Hyacinth
Austinsteppedawaytochange clothes and shower. Hyacinth felt like she might scratch through her skin if she stayed in that bed alone, even with Snuffles—her guardian protector—so she opted to go investigate a snack. Especially since Austin said he’d meet her down there and they could talk about Sabine.Sabine. The woman in red. The one who haunts me.She wanted to scream, truth be told. Unhinge her jaw and let the sound echo off all the walls till she dislodged all the places Sabine violated. She wanted to skin herself and form a new layer that wasn’t scratched up by her touch.
But, in leu of being able to do that—or being allowed—she opted to pick up her bunny and tiptoe down the stairs in the dark. She held a candelabra up in one hand, Snuffles squished to her chest in the other, and took the stairs one step at a time. Her chemise did nothing to keep her protected, but she couldn’t be bothered to put more on. Doing so would mean remaining in that room where Sabine could appear in the mirror at any moment. No, thank you, I am very upset at her right now.
Each step groaned, an eerie creaking sound bouncing off the walls with every step. The candles danced over her head as she held the metal contraption aloft. Its amber light was a soft orb around her face, carving through the ink. She barely made it to the bottom before she felt the zap of cold run up her foot intoher bones. It started aching at the ankles, then her knees as she wandered through the dark house to the kitchen. Her toes scraped across the hallway carpet, and it wasn’t enough friction to warm her skin. This doesn’t feel familiar. In her mind, she waded through a fog riddled graveyard the way the air brushed across her skin and not a hallway.
It felt like she wasn’t inside the manor. But when she stepped too close to the walls, she found the same familiar black and ash grey striped wallpaper. She found the same elegantly molded archways. And when she entered the kitchen, the chandelier hissed to life with a few candles. It wasthe kitchen. Yet she still felt like a dream. She set the rabbit down on the table, releasing Snuffles from her grasp.
Something scurried past her on the left and she whirled around. The candles crackled, dancing erratically as she jerked them around. Whatever it was, it burrowed its way into the abyss of the pantry.
“I’ve had enough ghosts for today,” she grumbled, stomping to the round-bellied fridge instead. “I came for a snack.”
Snuffles agreed as the pair stood in front of the fridge. Hyacinth cracked open the door with a hard grunt. Peering around all the shelves only to find her bunny nudged at the bottom drawer. Hyacinth grabbed the handle for it and tugged, and oogled the paper wrapped meat.
