“Remember, it was one of my visions that led Thorne to you,” he said, finally turning his head to face me. “But that vision was you, Thorne, andSawyer.” He trailed off like he was leaving something out. Perhaps something he couldn’t tell me.

I wanted to argue, to fight back, but being between those two men was really appealing, especially in this state.

Scooting over, I tucked myself against him. “You look cold,” I whispered. “I’m sorry I stole your jacket.”

His arms looped around me lazily. “I’m okay, but this is nice.”

“You’re nice,” I said. “But if they’re both my boyfriends, you’ll be alone.”

My hand smoothed over his torn, black jeans, patting him sympathetically on the thigh.

Tipping his head sideways, Cole spoke into my ear. “Don’t worry about me. I’m patient.”

Goosebumps prickled over my skin, and the ache between my legs throbbed. Maybe I shouldn’t be cuddling with Cole, but I was too floaty and relaxed to care.

The sliding door squeaked, and Thorne leaned out. “It’s getting late. You guys good?”

“I’m tired!” I declared. “Too tired to walk. I need to be carried like the princess I am.”

Thorne frowned, and I giggled. It was a joke, but he took it seriously. Taking three steps across the small space, he looped an arm under my thighs and another around my back and lifted me to his chest.

“At least this time, I’m not naked,” I said. Letting my feet dangle and my head fall back, I giggled again.

Cole must have followed us, because I heard the door slide shut and lock behind us as Thorne carried me across the living room to my room.

He laid me on my bed. I grinned at him. “You’re not so bad, I guess. Maybe we got off on the wrong foot. The wrong knot? Cause I got off on your knot, and it was freaky.”

Leaning over, Thorne kissed me on the forehead. “Good night, Vixen.”

Sawyer appeared in my vision, scowling.

“Who pissed in your Cheerios?” I teased.

“You let him kiss you,” he said.

“I’ll let you do way more than that to me.” Trying my best to look seductive, I wiggled on the bed.

His jaw flexed. “You’re not in any condition for that.”

“Please?” I begged, pushing myself to sit up. The room blurred, and I focused on my wolfy boyfriend. “I’m just a bit, you know, floaty. Please fuck me. I need it. I was thinking about you and Thorne, and it was so hot. Please, I need it.”

Sighing, Sawyer sat on the bed at my feet. “You’re ridiculous. Ask me again in the morning, and I’ll happily fuck you. Right now, you need sleep.”

With a defiant huff, I threw myself back down and rolled over. If he wouldn’t help me, I’d help myself. Grumbling, I stretched out across the bed, reaching for my bedside drawer. It was really far, and I got tired in the middle and gave up. I didn’t even wake up when Sawyer came to bed.

Chapter 15

Double Threat

Sawyer was gone when I woke. He left a note on his pillow saying he got called into work and that he loved me, along with a suggestive stick figure drawing that made me smile.

I had no work to get to, I realized glumly. It took effort to get myself out of bed, and the room spun a bit as I walked to the bathroom. My muscles were sore for no reason, and I felt weak.

Thorne was stretched out on the sofa when I walked into the living room, his arm over his face. Somehow, he was even paler.

“Where’s Cole?” I asked, crossing to the kitchen to make coffee.

“Still asleep in Sawyer’s room,” he said, sounding as awful as I felt.
