I chuckled and shook my head.

“Thank you, Twin.”

I yanked Myome in. I grabbed her face in my hands and she wrapped her arms around my waist while we kissed.

“You’re welcome,” she mumbled against my lips. “I’m proud of you.”

We hugged and I squeezed Myome against me while I breathed her in.

I knew my parents and siblings were proud of me, but damn. Shit hit a little different coming from Myome. She didn’t just tell me when she was proud of me. She showed it over and over.Even knowing she had her own shit going on with her music and the little issue she was having with her spark, she still made sure she clapped for and supported me.

Her hands trailed up and down my back and I kissed the top of her head.

“I appreciate you, Twin.”

“Good because I appreciate you too.”

She pulled back, tiptoed, and kissed me one last time before we took our seats.

It made sense why Myome had put us on a strict schedule. The sun was getting ready to set, and with her fine ass in front of it, the sight was amazing. I took my phone out and snapped a picture of my wife in front of me with the water and sunset as a backdrop and posted it.

“So this is what you’ve been sneaking around doing?” I asked.

“I didn’t really sneak,” she said. “I just made a few phone calls.”

“And found a boat?”

“That’s right.”

I reached for my gun and pulled it before the chef even hit the corner. He lifted his hands in mock surrender and I cleared my throat while I set my gun on the table.

“My bad.”

“You’re fine, sir. I was just checking to see if it was okay for me to start serving dinner.”

“Yes. That would be fine. Thank you.” Myome gave me a small smile and he nodded once before rushing away. “Damn, Berlin.” She snickered. “You scared that poor man half to death.”

“I bet he announces himself before he tries to pop up on us again though.”

“Yeah, probably.” Myome exhaled and leaned forward, propping her face up on her hands.

I leaned back in my seat.

“Stop looking at me like that, Twin.”

She blinked at me and a smile crossed her face.

“Like what, baby?”

“Like you want to share the privileges of calling me daddy.”

Myome looked out toward the water, shrugged, and glanced back at me. “I don’t know, Berlin. I’m not that against it to be honest. If you keep making comments like that I may just take you up on it.”

“Three years max?”

“You serious?”

“Dead ass.”
