Chapter Forty-four
Mia
It’s been just over a week since our wedding day.
We broke the news to the college and to say they were shocked was an understatement, but there was nothing they could do about it. We’re married and that trumps all the rules.
We’re also blissfully happy.
I look over at my husband who is currently stretched out on the sunbed next to mine, the tropical sun turning his skin a beautiful golden brown.
Hudson whisked me away on a surprise honeymoon to Bora Bora the day after college ended. It’s summer break so we are both able to spend some timeaway.
As if he feels my eyes on him, he lifts his own from his book and gives me a look. A look that has me wet in seconds; probably something to do with the slutty glasses he’s wearing.
“Do you need another fucking, baby?” We’ve been here for two days, and this is the first time we’ve made it out of our water bungalow. I have a feeling we’ll be back there soon.
“Not just yet.” Although my pussy is screaming that we do indeed need another fucking.
“You sure? I don’t think everyone on this island has heard you scream Daddy just yet.”
“Are you serious about becoming one?” He puts his book and glasses down next to him, and turns his body to face me.
“About us having a baby?” I nod at him. “Yes. I want that more than anything, but I want you to want it, too. This isn’t something I can push you to do.”
“You wouldn’t be pushing me,” I murmur. It’s all I’ve been able to think about since he muttered those words in San Francisco.
“You want it, too?”
“So much,” I whisper. “I won’t renew my birth control.”
He rises from the bed in one move and pulls me from my own, grabbing my hand and tugging me along behind him.
“Hudson,” I splutter.
“You think you can say something like that and not expect me to bury myself inside you?”
“You were inside me less than an hour ago.”
“And I’m about to be inside you again.”
“You’re insatiable,” I mumble.
“Get used to it, sweet pea. You’ve just given me the green light to knock you up.”
“As if you need a reason to fuck me.”
“Damn right.” He waves his hand with the room band in front of the door, and I hear the latch click as he pushes the door open.
“The shot hasn’t worn off yet, but I guess we’ve got to practice as well, though, right?”
“Exactly,” he smirks. “Practice makes perfect, and I’m nothing if not a perfectionist.”
“It’s why you married me.”
“Hmm, you are perfect.” He lowers his head to kiss me.
“Perfect for you.”
