“You’ll love it you dirty fucker.”
“I think calling Ava ‘Mama’ will do it for me. Fuck if that doesn’t sound hot.” I never had River pegged as a ‘Mama’ man.
“It’s the thought of getting her pregnant for me. Fuck me, breeding my wife was the hottest thing in the world. There’s no way we’re stopping at two.” I nod at Grayson, the thought of getting Mia pregnant has me hard as steel every damn time.
“Oh, yeah,” Reed groans next to us. “I cannot wait to get Bella pregnant. For now, we’re just enjoying all the practice. The minute she gives me the okay, though, I am putting my baby in her.”
“Now you really need to leave.” They all nod in agreement; this chat hasn’t helped our obsessions with our women.
“Who’s taking Harper home?” I know it won’t be Reed, although he’d no doubt go out of his way to make sure she’s safe, but he and Bella are just a short walk from me.
“We are,” River confirms. He and Ava will also be a short walk once their house is ready, but for now, they’re much closer to Harper’s apartment.
“Thanks, man.” I can see myself becoming good friends with these two guys. Let’s hope Harper picks someone we all like. He’s got a lot of people to impress.

I grab an open bottle of champagne and two flutes and carry them out to the deck.
PerfectbyEd Sheeranplays over the speakers. We might not have found each other when we were kids like he did but fuck if she’s not perfect for me. I pour us each a glass and hand hers to her.
“To us,” I murmur as I clink my glass against hers and pull her into my arms as we slowly dance to the song.
“To us,” she repeats. “You didn’t give me a chance to respond earlier.” My body tenses at her words. I know exactly what she’s talking about.
Please don’t ruin today, baby girl.
“I don’t expect you to. I know you’re not there yet.”
“Oh, you do, do you?” Her eyes have narrowed on me.
“You’ve fought me every step of this relationship.”
“That’s just me,” she shrugs. “I’m a brat.”
“That you are,” I laugh.
“However, if you’d have let me earlier, I would have told you something I think you’d have liked to hear.”
Fuck, sweet pea, don’t get my hopes up.
“Yeah?” I barely breathe the words.
“I love you, Hudson. I wouldn’t have married you if I didn’t.” My heart stops. It actually fucking stops in my chest. I’m about to have a heart attack at the age of forty-six. “The way you love me, the way you care for me, the way you fuck me.” Her eyes darken at her last words. “I didn’t stand a chance against you. We were always going to be forever.”
Christ, she’s just ruined me in the best way possible.
“You’re the best thing to ever happen to me.”
“You’re damn right I am.” She winks at me. “Now, take me upstairs and fuck your wife.”
About fucking time.
Mia
He doesn’t waste a minute, reaching for the zipper at the back of my jumpsuit and pulling it down as soon as we step foot inside the bedroom. His gaze is glued to me, the blue of his eyes completely obliterated by black.
“I’ve never seen a bride wear something like this before, but it was fucking perfection,” he mumbles against my neck as he places kisses down the column of skin.
