“Fuck,” he groans as he leans into my neck, his teeth against my skin. “That was insane. You feel incredible.”

I wet my lips as he rolls onto the bed next to me, his heavy frame creaking the mattress as he shifts the blankets and tucks us both beneath the covers. “I’m pretty sure I’m an asshole now.”

“You’re a human being. We talked about this. God will forgive you.”

He pauses, his hand resting over my chest, the rough pads of his fingers tickling my arm slowly. “I’m not sure I want to be forgiven anymore.”

“What do you mean?”

“I can’t imagine not having that over and over again every day for the rest of eternity. Your body is heavenly, Wren. I don’t know how I go back to pretending like this doesn’t exist.” He leans into my lips slowly, the taste of my pleasure on his mouth as he kisses me for the first time. “You’re mine, little lamb. I can’t see it any other way.”

“So what’s the plan?” I smile against his kiss. “You going to keep me hidden in the walls back here? If you get me an oven and some baking supplies, I should be fine. But fair warning, I think Netflix has a few documentaries about this kind of thing.”

“That’s always been my dream,” he says, kissing my shoulder, the rough tips of his fingers brushing against my skin. “A Netflix documentary.”

I laugh under my breath. “Have you had any dreams about having your own fanfic online, ‘cause my friend told me today someone’s writing one about you.”

“Who’s someone?” he groans, his hands still wandering my body.

“I think it’s Leanne.”

“Of course it is. Why do you think it’s her?”

“The main character loves bright-colored clothes, has big tits and blonde hair, so I think it was a fair assumption.”

He shakes his head as he rests another kiss on my shoulder. “Have you read it?”

“I’m living it.”

He growls low like he’s hungry for more, his lips peppering my body with kisses every other word as he says, “Tell me what this looks like to you. What would our life be like together? How many kids do you want? Where would we live?”

This feels almost as dangerous as masturbating for him, maybe more so. I’ve already done the work of a devil tonight. I might as well keep going.

“I think we’d have like five kids. A house full. Four girls, one boy. I’d name the girls, Evie, Eliza, Elena, and Everly. You name our son.”

“Oh, shit, ugh… Beau. I’ve always liked that name.”

“Beau?” I laugh. “No, we can’t name our son Beau.”

“Why not?”

“Because that’s what people name their dogs. My dad had a hunting dog named Beau for years. He was a pain in the ass, always running off and getting into things he shouldn’t have been getting into.”

“Okay,” he grows silent for a moment, his head resting on my shoulder as he continues to feather his touch against my skin, “what about Christopher?”

“We’ll work on the boy’s name,” I grin, “but we’ll have four girls, one boy, they’ll all be super cute, and we can live in your mom’s place. She was telling me today how important the place is to your family. We’d need to expand, of course, but I like the history of it.”

He kisses my collarbone and sighs. “That’s the sweetest thing, little lamb, but I don’t think this town is going to want me here after I leave the church.”

“You don’t know that.” I roll into him and kiss his forehead gently. “You’re a good man and you’ve done so much for this community. People will see that too.”

“Should we get married at the lake?” He lifts my finger and circles the spot where a ring would go. “You in a pretty little dress in front of those mountains and all that turquoise, I can see it now.”

“Yeah,” a tear works its way out, but I swallow it down again, “right there on the rocks. Not a big thing, but a sweet little ceremony for the two of us. I can make cupcakes for us afterward and we can have a bonfire on the beach that night.”

He brushes his hand down my wrist, over my stomach, and onto my thigh. “This is what I want.”

“Me too,” I whisper. “Forever.”
