"Either way, I don't want to bring her into this, if I anger him, he could take it out on her. Contact Ismael and set up a meeting, please," she asks Maria again.

"Are you completely sure? Once I confirm I know you there's no going back, it won't take him long to find you."

"I'm very sure," Trinidad says looking at Benjamin, "after all, he's already found me and it's just a matter of time before he discovers my current name and address. I need to end this, maybe if I threaten him and show him I have the capacity to ruin him..."

Trinidad sighs, exhausted and terrified, but sure of the decision she just made.

"I don't know if it's a good idea or not," the bodyguard comments, "but since we've confirmed he's still looking for her, it's best to know what we're up against. Maybe he just wants to apologize."

Trinidad raises her eyebrows and Benjamin makes a face.

"Yes, I know, that's asking too much."

"Well, if you're so clear about it, tomorrow I'll try to contact him, but I'll be with you," Maria assures.

Trinidad smiles at her in such a way that Benjamin decides it's time to leave them alone and says goodbye.

"Are you staying?" the businesswoman asks.

"Again? Don't you think we've been getting intimate a lot lately?" Maria flirts trying to reduce the tension a bit.

"I love spending time with you," Trinidad admits and moves closer to whisper, "and fucking you too."

Maria's knees go weak hearing her.

"But if you think it's too much, you can leave," the businesswoman drops like an ice block.

"When are you going to drop that cold mask once and for all? It doesn't work with me anymore," Maria narrows her eyes.

"No?" Trinidad challenges her, with a twisted and sufficient smile that both exasperates and ignites the lawyer more.

"No. You're done with fucking me at your whim and leaving me with words in my mouth. Why did you do it?" she asks pressed against her.

Trinidad nods thoughtfully, with her hands anchored to Maria's waist.

"Because I think you needed it, you gave the impression of going around breaking innocent hearts, and I thought giving you a taste of your own medicine would bring you down a notch. You had a very arrogant look when we met, plus, I liked you and it pissed me off that you didn't trust me," Trinidad admits.

"Well, you have a very curious way of making women notice you," Maria frowns.

"I wasn't trying to make any woman notice me, I just wanted you to notice," Trinidad admits.

Maria feels her words sink so deep that she doesn't know what to answer and shivers when Trinidad smiles and her fingers start slipping under her clothes.

"Well, just so you know, tonight, I'm not going anywhere," the lawyer pants, so aroused that her hands are already wrestling with Trinidad's pants closure.
