“Jesse,” I sighed. “That feels so good.”

He smiled. “Good. I’m glad, sweetness. Let’s see if I can make it feel even better.”

Continuing to circle the bundle of nerves, the pleasure continued to grow. He dipped inside again, this time with two fingers.

“Are you ready for me to love you, sweetness?”

“Please, Jesse. Make love to me.”

He took hold of his shaft and placed it at my entrance. Slowly, he eased himself inside my channel, easing forward, then easing back.

“I love you, Lyrical.”

“I love you, too, Jesse.”

He pushed further. I could tell he was trying to hold back, thinking that if he went slowly, it would hurt less. However, I knew that wasn’t the case from the talk I’d overheard from other girls, so I slid my arms beneath his and clutched his back. With a sudden pull that he was not expecting, I forced him closer, and he ripped through my hymen, officially taking my virginity.

I must have winced or made a sound, something. He apologized again, raining kisses on my face as I waited for the pain to pass.

When it finally did, Jesse found a gentle rhythm back and forth. I felt his hand slide between us, his thumb circling my clit again. Slowly but surely, pleasure built inside me, and then I felt a wave come over me. It felt so good, like I was riding the crest into shore.

When it passed, I heard Jesse’s breath rasping harsher than before. His thrusts sped up, then he gave several soft grunts, and I felt him twitch inside me as he filled the condom with his release.

When his body finished, he rolled over and pulled me to his side, his arm wrapped tightly around my shoulder, and his lips pressed to the top of my head.

While we lay there, I wondered how he was feeling. It certainly sounded as if it felt good for him. That he enjoyed it.

But what if it hadn’t? What if I didn’t do something right, or didn’t do enough? Again, I’d heard talk about other things couples did while having sex, but we had done none of them. Was he disappointed that we hadn’t? I felt my nervousness returning.

“Sweetness, are you okay? You’re awfully tense.”

I tried to relax my body. When it didn’t happen, he stroked his fingertips over my skin and pressed soft kisses to my hairline.

“Was it… okay?” I asked.

I felt his smile against my forehead. “Better than okay.” He pulled back slightly, and I met his gaze. “I expect that with practice, it’ll get even better.” He winked at me.

Giggling, I felt relieved that he was pleased.

He kissed my forehead once more. “I need to get rid of the condom. Be right back.”

After he returned to bed, I went to the bathroom to clean up. Glancing in the mirror, I looked to see if I appeared any different. Aside from a slight pink tinge to my cheeks and widened eyes, the biggest change was a light soreness from the unfamiliar activity.

The memory of what it felt like to have him inside me brought a gush of wetness. My body was ready to make love to him again, and I wondered if he’d want to so soon.

Returning to bed, I slipped between the sheets, where he readily took me into his arms again. Our bodies pressed together, and he answered my question as I felt him harden against me again.

“Lyrical…?” he asked softly.

“Yes, please,” I replied to his unfinished question.

The rest of the evening passed more than pleasantly.

Chapter Ten.

Lyrical - First Deployment

Today we celebrated the anniversary of Jesse’s graduation from boot camp. A lot had happened in that time. Immediately after Infantry School, the marines assigned both brothers departed for Camp Pendleton. It surprised me, but not them. They said nothing because they didn’t want to worry me.
