Sliding my arms under Nola,I carefully lift her out between Jasper and Sylas. She’s passed out cold and is a bit too much of a deep sleeper for my liking.

Someone could break into her room and kill her, and she wouldn’t even wake up.

Well, not anymore. Not since Sylas put a camera in her room.

The man almost lost his shit when he had to spend two days without her.

Not that I blame him, I hate being away from her, too.

That's why I’m pretty much kidnapping her in the middle of the night. I haven’t gotten a chance to have her alone in a while.

“Wesley?” she mumbles my name in a soft, sleepy voice “What are you doing?”

“We’re going for a drive,” I tell her as I carry her down the stairs.

“A drive?” She blinks up at me, rubbing the sleep from her eyes. “What time is it?”

“Two in the morning.”

Her brows furrow, and she looks adorable with her rumpled hair.

She’s more alert now, looking around as I bend down and open the front door.

She looks back up at me and sighs. “Do I wanna know?”

My lip twitches as I huff out a soft chuckle. “You’ll see when we get there.”

Leaning her head back on my shoulder, she doesn’t question me further.

It’s one of the things I love about this woman. She’s down for anything, trusts us without a second thought.

I get her in the passenger's seat of my car. “Uh, Wesley?”

“Yeah, Little Rabbit?”

“Aren’t you forgetting something?” she asks, grinning up at me.

“No?”

She sighs. “Give me your shirt.”

“What?”

“I’m practically naked.” She points to her breasts. Huh, she is. Sitting there with only her panties on. Shit.

Grabbing the hem of my shirt, I pull it up and over my head before handing it to her.

As she puts it on, I head over to the driver's side.

“So, where are we going?” she asks, looking around as we speed away from our neighborhood.

“You’ll see,” I say, rolling the windows down, enjoying the spring night air.

She says nothing, just turns the music on. I snort a laugh when I hear “Stupid Boy” by Ashnikko start to play.

It’s not the kind of music I normally listen to, but there are a few songs I can tolerate.

As we drive, my attention flicks between Nola and the road. It’s like I can’t keep my eyes off her. She’s addicting, just her existence is enough to pull me into her orbit.
