“And what do I have to do to get it?” I can feel him move in closer to me now, making my body go stiff.

“If you want to keep your life, I’d advise you to step away.” I turn to look at him.

He grins down at me, letting out a chuckle. “I’m not scared of any of these men in here, baby girl.” He goes to touch me, but I grab his wrist.

“I’m not your baby girl.” I glare up at him. “And it’s not the men you need to fear.”

He raises a brow, amused with me. “Oh, yeah?” He grins. “Who should I be afraid of then? You?”

“Yes.” Jasper's voice sends tingles down my spine.

The man looks toward Jasper and steps away. “Sorry,” he mutters, turning around and leaving.

“You’re going to kill him, aren't you?” I can’t help but grin up at him.

Jasper looks down at me, the scowl on his face making him so damn sexy. “You’d like that, wouldn’t you?” he teases, stepping closer.

I bite my lip and nod. “Yes, has me wet just thinking about it.”

He growls, making my nipples pebble against the fabric of my dress.

“You really are a fucking dirty little slut, aren’t you?”

“I thought we already established that.” I shrug.

“You think you can talk to other guys?” he growls.

“He talked to me first,” I point out. “And what's the big deal? You three have been ignoring me for weeks.”

“We’ve been cleaning up your mess,” he growls, getting in my face. “You think you can go around and kill people with no repercussions? Life doesn’t work that way. You’ve created a big mess, Nola. And now you need to be punished for it.”

Sucking in a breath, I bite the inside of my cheek as anticipation bubbles up inside me. I clench my thighs together, waiting to see what he says next.

“For fuck’s sake,” he grumbles lowly. “I can practically smell your cunt dripping. You’re so fucked in the head.”

“So are you,” I argue breathlessly.

“Yes. We are.” He grins. And that catches me off guard. I can count the number of times I’ve seen Jasper smile on one hand. “And you’re about to be reminded about just how fucked up we are.”

He grabs my wrist and yanks it to him. Opening my fist, he places a piece of paper in the middle of my palm before closing my fingers around it. “Do as you're told. Do you understand?”

I nod my head, even though I have no idea what he’s talking about.

“Good girl.” He takes a step back as I melt at his praise. “Enjoy your night, Nola,” he says before turning around and walking away.

Quickly, I unfold the piece of paper and read what it says.

At exactly one am, be at the front entrance of St. Louis Cemetery No. 3. Come dressed in a white night gown and nothing else.

A white night gown? How the hell am I going to do that? Do I have to go home and grab one? Are they going to provide me with one?

Looking up from the letter, I search the room for them, but can’t see them anywhere.

“You okay?”

I turn around to find Callie and Garrett.

“I think so?” I tell her, holding out the note. “Jasper gave me this, then dipped.”
