Max notices and laughs. “Already?”

“Fuck off.” I reach down and grab his matching hard on. “So are you.”

“Yes,” he groans, thrusting into my grip. “But I’m going to save this for the pretty little Omega we choose tonight.”

“Rude.” I mutter, glaring at him playfully.

“Come on, hot stuff,” he chuckles, slapping my ass.

Sighing, I head over to my bag and grab some clean clothes to change into.

This weekend is our last show, then next week will be Christmas supper with the family.

Gia will be there and I’m nervous as hell.

Seeing her again, this time as an Alpha, I don’t know how to act.

Things will be weird and awkward. I don’t want that.

Not going isn’t an option.

“Ready?” Max asks.

“Ah, yeah.” I blow out a breath. “Let’s go.”

Pulling into the parking lot, Max parks our rental in the client parking lot. I’m trying to get into the right headspace for this, but my mind is still on Gia.

She’s here, in this town. So close, yet so far away.

What is she doing right now? Probably at home watching a movie by the fire, or reading a book.

Honestly, I have no idea. I know nothing about her. And that’s pretty fucking depressing on it’s own.

“Hello.” A woman at the front counter greets us. “How can I help you?”

“Hi. We’re members, but not primarily with this location.” Max answers for us.

“Okay.” she smiles and nods. “Could I get your name, please?”

“Max Thornwood. And this is Trenton Wilder.”

Her eyes light up and I want to groan. A fan I see.

“As in the lead singer and guitarist for Twisted Destiny?"

“Yeah.” Max laughs, but I know he’s feeling the same way I am.

“Oh, this is so exciting,” she gushes.

“If you don’t mind, we’d like to get our night started," I tell her.

“Of course.” Her smile falls. “You’re all checked in.”

“Thanks.” Max gives her a polite smile but we’re both quick to get to the elevator.

The doors open and we step inside, scanning our card and pressing number five.

The whole elevator trip up, I’m zoned out. When we get to our floor, I shake my head, forcing myself to focus.
