Lenni frowned.“Who?”

“Oh, that hurt,” Muddy muttered.“Right in the chest.”

“Hold on a second. You proposed?”Poet asked and then she looked at Muddy.“And you said no?Why?”

“I don’t have to explain myself,” Muddy said.“I’m an adult.”

“She’s right, you know. That is the rule,” Salem said.

Poet pointed at her.“Quiet, you.”

Cole looked at Gracie.“This is the best wedding I’ve ever been to.”

“Hey,” Hadley announced.“Mine was pretty good. And it also had drama.”

“What happened at your wedding?”Lenni asked her.

“Ask Wyn,” Hadley said.

“I’m sorry, where are we on the cutting of the cake?”Salem asked.

“Everyone say cheese!”Arden yelled.

“Are you mad about your grandfather and Muddy?”I asked.

“Not even a little bit,” she said with a laugh.“I just think it’s hilarious that they’ve been sneaking around just like the rest of us.”

“Old people need sex too,” Salem said.“Right?”

“Earmuffs,” Poet muttered.

I grinned.

“Now you, missy,” Hadley pointed her fork at me.“When did you find out you were pregnant?”

“On our weekend getaway.I thought I had food poisoning,” I said.

“Were you trying to get pregnant?”Salem asked.“I thought you were on birth control.”

“I went off it around the time of the penis embargo.”I swallowed.“The first time Archer and I slept together he didn’t wear a condom. He pulled out, but, yeah, here we are.”

I expected recriminations.
