My thoughts are completely on Tank because I don’t notice something is wrong until I feel a gun at my head.
“Drive. And if you think of doing anything stupid, I will go back to that hospital and kill your sister and her babies,” the rough voice growls.
My eyes immediately fill with tears and my hands start shaking. I want to crash this vehicle into something, but I can’t risk my sister or those babies. She has already been through too much.
“That’s a good girl. Now we are going to lose your bodyguard. If you don’t lose him in the next twenty minutes, my men will kill him on sight,” he says roughly.
I can’t have that. There is no way I will let anyone die for me.
I make my way through streets and going through dark alleys to lose the prospect.
I want to cry when I see him ride by in front of me.
Whatever happens, I know it won’t be good. I may not make it out of this alive.
All I can think is that Tank will never know how I truly feel.
I’m so sorry, honey. I wish we had more time.
“Good girl. Time to take you to your new home,” the voice rasps in my ear.
I hear him sniff my hair and let out a groan. “I definitely picked the right sister,” he says lowly.
Be strong. You have to make it out of this.
