“But…” I parrot.
He smiles and leans into my mouth, kissing me with slow, gentle lips.
“I can think of a few things we can do, Mrs. Hayes,” he murmurs.
Chapter 46
Ledger
“Oneofthembetternot be a puzzle, because I am not doing a puzzle in bed,” Shiloh says in all her sass.
I throw my head back laughing, and it immediately cuts off when she grabs me.
“No, wife, that’s not at all what I had in mind,” I croak.
She hums and nips my lip.
I cup the back of her neck, holding her in place, savoring her lips.
Her leg swings over my hips, and she kisses me like the world is about to end.
I lift my head to meet her mouth, and she giggles, rubbing a thumb over my mustache.
I grab her hips, looking for her panties, not finding any.
She pulls back. “Don’t have any to put on. They’re at my apartment.”
I shrug. “Easier for me.”
She laughs, and I take the edge of her shirt, pulling it over her head.
My wife is beautiful.
“I have an idea,” I tell her.
“Oh?” she says.
I nod and wiggle down the bed.
“What are you—”
“Oh,” she says, eyes bright. Life has returned to them, and I’m grateful.
“Get on,” I tell her.
Shiloh hesitates, and I squeeze her butt again. She complies, and I get to work.
“That is…”
“Oh wow,” she sighs, grabbing the headboard.
Her hips move faster, and my grip tightens. I’m hanging by a thread, looking up at my wife from between her legs.
She takes a breath and stills for a moment as her release slams into her.
I hold her still until her hips stop moving. “I knew that mustache was a beautiful thing,” she says, still catching her breath next to me.
I wipe my mouth and chuckle. “Glad I could use it to make my wife happy.”
