I swallow hard, his eyes stare into mine, his gaze intense as an inferno builds inside my chest.

“Clear thinking. Stay aware of my surroundings. No hesitation. Fucking kill everyone.”

His lips lift into a smile, and instantly I’m weak.

“Such a beautiful, fucking perfect, Little Heathen.”

And then he kisses me.

For almost three months, I have not let my men touch me much at all, until today. No kissing. Definitely no sex. My mind has been a ‌train wreck fueled by night terrors. In this moment, Carterseesme and somehow senses that I’m ready.

His tongue swirls around mine as he presses a shaky hand to my cheek. The trauma took this from us. This closeness that’s everything. It’s like coming home. A breath whispering that the girl who never fits finally does. This is where I belong. It doesn’t matter where, as long as it’s with them.

Carter pulls back, his eyes on mine, the moment between us intense.

“I’m sorry.”

“I’m not.”

“I should’ve asked.”

Shaking my head, I clear up any doubts he has.

“You have been patient and never asked for more than I could give. It’s been three months, and you knew what I needed. As always.”

Knox stops at our agreed spot to meet up with the brothers.

“Now I need Grave. I need to make him pay, and then I’m going to ask all three of you to kiss me like your life depends on it.”

“Yes, ma’am.” Killian groans, and I giggle as Knox gets out and opens the door for us.

“Are you ready?” Bones asks, and I nod.

“Completely ready. I’ve been waiting for this since I was fourteen years old.”

Chapter Fifteen

KNOX

Our girl looks hot as hell dressed in black cargo pants, a matching shirt, and a bulletproof vest over top. I’ve always hated cargo pants, but she needed the extra pockets and I’ve learned something about myself. Anything I hated before, I fucking love on her.

Carter attaches his silencer to the gun to suppress the noise when he fires it.

We’ve all discussed her sister at length, and Bones agreed if Abigail needs to be shot, one of them will do it. As much as Heather agrees if her sister protects Grave she needs to die, we think it’ll cause problems if it’s one of us who pulls the trigger. Raven offered his special services, but the rest of us think a single gunshot is the better way to go. No matter what, Abigail started as a victim. Even if she’s completely brainwashed and on his side now. He made her that way. If she’s tortured, it’ll torture Heather, and none of us want that for her.

Heather bounces on her toes excitedly. Her thirst for Grave’s blood is intoxicating. This man hurt her in inconceivable ways, and no one is immune to justice. Not even the fucking Devil himself.

Carter smirks at Heather.

“Okay, Little Heathen. Let’s go fuck shit up.”

Her giggle is infectious as she follows behind my brother. Bones speaks into our earpieces, his instructions meant for Carter.

“Grave is in the bedroom with Abigail. Our guy on the inside is wearing a cap that says, ‘Jesus saves’, white jeans and a white button down shirt. He is to live.”

The entire compound is surrounded by cement walls that are probably close to six feet in height with barbed wire at the top.

Bones chuckles to himself.
