The Dom turned his full attention to the little woman trying to get away from him.“Settle down,” he said in a full Dom voice.
She froze instantly and stared up at him.
“I’m going to have you come with me.We’ll sit down, and you can tell me why you’re here.”
She shook her head frantically and started to fight again.“Please, just let me go.”
“I’m afraid you’ll get hurt, sweetheart.Let’s figure out what’s going on, and I’ll fix it.”
She shivered as she realized all the attention they were getting.“I just need to find my dad, and then I’ll leave,” she whispered urgently.
“All right, I’ll help with that.”
She felt her stomach twist harder, and anxiety she couldn’t fight against.She was too afraid to think straight.Her focus was on her father and not the Dom trying to take care of her.
Chapter Three
Someone bumped themenacing Dom from behind, enough to loosen his hold for her to be able to jerk away from him and run.
“Dammit.Get back here,” he bellowed over the heads of the people between him and the woman, who was putting more space between them every second.
Mina rushed fearfully through the crowd, dodging the hands that reached out to grab her.She turned and looked behind her and ran into a giant wall of muscle.
“Whoa, pet.Easy.”
“No ...no.Please let me go,” she said and kept looking behind her for the first Dom that had held her captive.
“No can do.”
“This has to be the woman Blake was talking about.Jesus, she’s a pretty little thing, isn’t she?Look at her eyes.I’ve never seen a shade of blue like that.It’s almost violet.”
She looked from one man to the other and then over her shoulder.One of the men reached out and placed his hand on top of her head.
“What’s your name, sweetheart?”Koa asked softly.
“It’s ...T ...Mina.Please let me go.”
