“Yes. Of course I am. But I would like to… try.”

“All right.” Amber nodded, all business. “Let’s see who we can find for you.”

I didn’t recall making the decision to step forward and speak. Butthe words were out of my mouth before I could second guess or check with the others. “We can take care of that, Amber, if you like.”

They both turned to look at me, and our Omega’s eyes went wide. She took in the four of us, staring in shock and… desire? Her scent shifted—darker and somehow impossibly sweeter.

Fuck yes.

There was no way for her to scent match with us right now, but there was interest. Interest was all we needed. I locked eyes with her, unable to conceal my amusement and my own desire. “If the Omega agrees, of course.”

Amber looked up. “Hello, boys. It’s good to see you again.” She scanned us up and down, and there was no way she didn’t know something was up, but she didn’t give it away. Her mouth tilted up into a smirk before she looked back at the Omega. “This is the Breaker Pack. They are trusted members here and very experienced. I can give you guys a few minutes to speak if you like?”

Amber leaned forward and lowered her voice. “But please remember that no part of this is meant to cause you discomfort, and you can always stop and return another night. Or we can find you someone else.”

Our Omega swallowed, and her hands fisted in her skirt, clearly showing her nerves, but her scent was still deep and sweet, and there wasn’t any true fear. “I’ll talk.”

I took another step forward, my entire soul wilting in relief. This Omega was ours. Now we had to figure out a way to show her.

CHAPTER FOUR

_____________

TRINITY

Istared up at the Alpha, my heart pounding. Now that he was closer, the elusive scent of cinnamon and sugar wrapped around me. Sweet, but just enough edge to raise chills on my skin. The good kind.

Amber set her hand on mine, and I jumped. She smiled at me, clearly sensing my nerves. But the nerves didn’t come from these Alphas. It came from the unknown and what I was about to do, but not them.

“This is Trinity. She’s new to Element.”

The Alpha held out his hand for mine, and I gave it to him. He lifted it, kissing the back, never breaking eye contact. Through the darkness of his mask, his eyes were a warm brown that made me feel… everything.

Woah.

“It’s nice to meet you, Trinity,” he said. “I’m Logan. This is Brooks, Bastian, and Theo.”

Four of them. My mouth dropped open, and I looked at Amber. “Does it need to be all four?”

“Not unless you want it to be.” She smirked. “I’ll give you a minute to talk. I’ll find an available room, and when you’re ready, ifyou’re ready, let me know, okay?”

“I will.”

Logan still held my hand and was still staring at me like Amber didn’t exist, even as she slipped away. What did I do now?

His hand tightened on mine, and I startled, looking back at him. Them. The wall of Alpha in front of me. “Sorry. Not exactly sure how to start a conversation with four Alphas who volunteered topunishme.”

He smiled, and it felt like my heart skipped a beat. It lit up the shadowy space we were in. “Can we sit with you?”

I nodded, and he sat where Amber had, still holding my hand. The others pulled the surrounding chairs closer—waycloser. I was suddenly surrounded by them and within touching distance of all of them. That was… overwhelming. And not in a bad way.

Just in a way I wasn’t sure how to deal with. Every nerve was primed and ready, jumping as Logan ran his thumb over the back of my hand.

“I didn’t mean to startle you,” he murmured.

“Not sure startling is the right word,” I said. “Being overloaded with Alpha intensity? Yes. So could the four of you tone that down?”

The Alpha nearest me laughed. He wore a deep blue button-down that brought out the color of his eyes. “Can’t promise that. It’s part of our charm.”
