Ava shimmies a little before bowing, absolutely delighted with herself, and damn she should be. I am stunned speechless yet again by the mystery of who I thought Ava was, and whoAva’s showing us she really is. I never imaginedthatcoming out of that tight little body. It all goes to prove the old saying, “Never Say Never”. Yup, eating my “never” right now.

“We officially have one of the hottest friends ever!” Jane roars above the clapping.

She’s not wrong.

A few minutes later, Ava comes back out, redressed in her sassy little black skirt, full of confidence. I like the look on her. I sit with an ankle crossing over my opposite knee, and she reaches to grab her purse, which just so happens to be masking my hard dick. My eyes pop out of my skull when it clicks that she wants her things. I grab her hand just as her fingers latch around the purse and accidentally skim my length, but I’m too late. Her eyes blow wide, and I dare her with mine to say something.

“I’ll hold onto this for a few more minutes, if you wouldn’t mind,” I mutter lowly. She nods, and I release her hand as she stands and blushes before me. “That was badass.”

“Thank you.”

“I’d offer to get you a drink to celebrate your performance, but…” I bite my lip as her eyes drop to my crotch. “You can have mine. I haven’t touched it yet. I’ve been distracted.”

She smirks and leans across my body to grab the drink, and I inhale her perfume, which only makes my cock that much harder. I didn’t think that was possible. A low growl leaves my throat as she passes back by, and I notice her shiver. She takes a sip and hums appreciatively at its taste. She’s killing me.

“You’re going to be the death of me,” I mumble, so low, I don’t even think she heard.

“Oh?” She turns her big eyes to me, and I’m so horny right now, I could die right here. I’d be happy to drown in their chocolatey depths.

“I don’t like the effect you’re having on me.”

“I guess that makes two of us,” she mumbles back, just as low, caught up in whatever the fuck this is.

I grab the drink from her hand and swallow. At least she’s admitting it too. She watches as my throat bobs and smiles mischievously.

“What?”

“I need my purse,” she purses her lips and reaches back for the object, saving me from embarrassment. When her fingers brush against me again, I inhale sharply.

“Impressive,” she whispers as she takes it away, chuckling as she goes to sit back down with the girls. Thank goodness it's dimly lit in here so I can somewhat adjust myself in the chair. Why again do I play with fire?

Ava

I’m feeling bold after that performance. The way the crowd roared for me has me feeling all femme fatale, and I’m going to ride that wave. Marissa brought me all the bills that Sam said I could keep. Holy crap, someone threw a couple hundreds up there. I hand her a twenty for doing me a solid, and she smiles and hugs me.

“Who’s the hottie who couldn’t take his eyes off you? He kind of reminds me of an actor. Girl, jump on that.”

“That’s Mark, and he’s a pig. We can’t stand each other ninety-eight percent of the time.”

Marissa’s eyes crinkle at the corners as if she doesn’t quite fall for that.

“I’m pretty sure there’s a saying about fine lines between love and hate.”

“Hmmm, haven’t heard that one before.”

We both giggle as I thank her and take my ass back to the party. I’m engulfed by support and praise from all my favorite people when I get back. Sydney squeals and tells me how gorgeous I looked up there, then whispers something about a few lessons I need to give her.

I walk over to Mark to grab my purse, but when I reach down to grab said purse, both of our eyes widen when I come in contact with a very hard um…situation. I gulp as he asks to hold onto it for a few more minutes and decide to oblige him.

The smolder in his eyes as we banter has my heart thudding in my chest. I can’t believe that that thing in his pants is all because of me. We can’t stand each other, right?

Neither of us can deny the attraction stirring between us. Neither of us are willing to accept what it’s clearly doing to us either. I just can’t. So, saucy as I’m feeling, I tell him I need my purse and take away his life preserver. His eyes pop wide before squinting as my fingers brush back across him, and I look at him mischievously while acknowledging the impressiveness of his situation. I can’t lie and call it anything else. I walk away with a catty smirk, hearing him quietly groan as he works to discreetly adjust himself.

Back on the bus, we’re headed home toward Sydney’s place. Not a single one of us is sober enough to drive, and the night has definitely been one for the books. The hangover will be worthit. Tommy and another one of his friends have been steadily putting on a little pressure for what I’m guessing they think will lead to a hookup. I even suspect them betting on who will score my number or whatever. I’m not about to be into that, so I try to stay close to the girls. Mark and Trystan have both stepped in to nonchalantly take over conversations with them a few times, and I’ve been thankful.
