Her pupils expand and contract with the images my wolf shares. I know the horrors she's seeing—they are the same ones Easton had pieced together for me. As the vision concludes, she nods and wipes her tears away.

"I'm sorry..." I cup her cheek before kissing her forehead.

"Do you know who did it?" Her eyes move from mine to Diaval's, then back to mine again.

"Not yet. We hope to find the answers here." I smile. "What do I call you besides Auntie?"

She blushes. "You must forgive me. It was like seeing a ghost when I saw you. My name is Astrid. My mate is Bjorn, and we have two sons, Caleb and Edgar. They're out hunting. You'll meet them tonight."

After all this time, I have blood relatives who are still living. I stare at my aunt in wonder before looking back at my mates, smiling like a fool. My heart is so happy and full I can barely contain myself. "Can someone direct us to rooms we can use? It's been a long journey, and I would like to clean up and then have something to eat."

"Of course. We'll set you up in the wing my family stays in for now. Tomorrow, we'll have the alpha's things removed, and you can move into the alpha suite." Astrid loops her arm with mine and starts leading me down the hallway behind the throne. I'm finally right where I belong.

My aunt opens an ornate door at the end of the hallway, and my mates and I enter the room. Astrid kisses my cheeks beforeshe leaves. I wonder why, as the next in line, she didn't take the throne when my mom vanished. But that's a question for later. For now, I watch my mates move around the room, ensuring it's safe for us.

"Ro, I need you," I call for my little pixie friend.

It takes her several minutes before she arrives, her tiny form fluttering into the room. "Fluffy..." She stops talking and zips around me, her eyes widening as she takes in the regal gown and adornments. "Queen Fluffy?" She bows in flight, then lands gracefully on the dresser closest to me.

"Luna. Similar to what humans and fae would call a queen." I smile, offering Ro the scarf that Easton passes me for her. "I need you to catch Fi and the gang up on everything we've discovered to this point."

"A lot has changed. You feel dangerous," she says, looking at me warily.

"I would never hurt you, Ro." I turn my eyes ice blue as I look at her, seeing the magic ebbing and flowing through her little body and how it pulses through the membranes of her wings.

Ro nods and offers me her hands.

I extend my hand to her and start showing her everything. Excerpts from my father's research about winter wolves and the wild hunt. The size and strength of my species. All the different magics we discovered that suppressed my wolf—the main one being basilisk blood. Ro gasps and breaks the connection, her eyes darting to Khal.

I shake my head. "He is not responsible."

She takes my hand again.

I reveal the hidden caches of skulls and research. Meeting my grandmother before she passed away and burying her, only to find the bone bracers and collar in the tomb of my ancestors. The hard journey here and the one-sided fight with the alpha because of the size difference. I show her I have a living aunt who has a family of her own. Ro and I separate, and she smiles. She snaps her fingers, and a tour t-shirt for Revelin's band appears before me. I take it, chuckling.

"Prince Picky Pants and Lite Brite are well. Sir Purrs a Lot and Danger Noodle Number Two are good. The mosquito is still creeping. They are making progress, many stops and fans." Ro hops up onto my shoulder and whispers in my ear. "Picky Pants has so many sex toys on the bus."

I laugh. "Honestly, it doesn't shock me, Ro. Dezi owns a BDSM club. He has an entire cabinet of sex toys."

"We need to check several more things here. I'll call you before we head back to Briarvale. Tell everyone we love and miss them and will see them soon." Ro stands, and with a mini salute, she vanishes in a wisp of glitter. I look around the room at my mates.

The Alpha is dead. The throne is mine. I have living family.

But somewhere out there, the people who murdered my parents are still breathing.

That changes soon.
