“This isn’t sedation.” Killian coughs.

“They’re weakening us,” Lucifer slurs.

“Smart.” I giggle as my knees buckle. I try to catch myself as Jagger reaches out but misses. Vinny moves in but slowly. Everything is too slow.

“Don't go down,”Jethro says, but his voice is slipping.

“No!” I won’t go quiet again. I won’t. The hallway melts and the lights smear as the wall breathes one last time, and then—nothing holds. I fall as the floor rushes up to meet me, and my vision flickers. Shapes around me collapse. Jagger—down. Killian—still. Lucifer—still smiling as he drops. And Vinny—he’s the last one standing. He looks at me, really looks at me, like he’s memorizing something, then—he goes down too. The mist thickens, swallowing everything.

“They didn’t stop you,”Jethro’s voice flickers.“They just paused you,”

My smile twitches. “…not for long,” I breathe as darkness pulls me under, but just before everything disappears—I hear it. Not the alarms, not the guards… ...Something deeper—a voice over the speakers. Calm and cold.

“Phase one failed. Begin containment.”

Then the world goes black.

Killer-Kut

Lolli-Gag

I’m already screaming but it doesn’t sound like me. The voice is all wrong, just like the ceiling above me. The paint peels and little shards float down and disappear once it gets close enough. I blink once. Twice. But then the lights flicker. Too bright… too white. I squint and try to move but I can’t because my arms are—pinned. My legs—held down. Pressure everywhere. Too many hands—too tight.

“No,” I gasp, but they don’t let go. Jagger is on my left, his grip is iron tight.

“Stay still,” he says, but his voice isn’t angry.Odd.Killian is between my legs, watching, but not like before. Colder. Like I’m something already decided. Lucifer leans over me, smiling softly.

“It’ll be easier if you don’t fight,” he whispers as Vinny digs his fingers into my shoulders.

“You don’t have a choice,” he says flatly.

“N-no! No! No! No!” I yell, my voice tearing out of me as my head shakes. My body strains but nothing moves. “Let me go!” Igrowl, but they don’t. Killian steps closer, his eyes sparkling as a glint of light blinds me for a second, then my eyes widen when I see the blade in his hand. I thrash but Jagger’s grip crushes down harder on my arm.Not angry, not protective, but final.

“You’re unstable. Maybe if I get her out, you will be fixed,” he says calmly as his words hit wrong.Wrong! Wrong! Wrong!

“I’m not—” I choke.

“You are, as long as she is in there,” he interrupts, pointing at my belly. “But I can fix that.” He smiles.Wrong! Wrong! Wrong!

“No!” I yell as my chest heaves while my heart beats wildly in my chest. This isn’t real! This isn’t real!

“Wake up!”Jethro whispers, his voice cutting through like glass.“This isn’t real!”he adds urgently.

“I know,” I whisper, but I don’t because it feels real, it smells real. Too clean and sterile much like—

“Hold her still,” Killian orders as Jagger’s grip tightens. Lucifer's hand presses gently against my throat, but Vinny doesn’t move. They’re all wrong. All of them.

“You’re going to hurt me?” I choke out, and Lucifer smiles.

“Only a little,” he says as his fingers press against my throat just enough to steal my breath away.

“Wake up!”Jethro snaps.

“I can’t—”

“You’re resisting, Canvas. I have to do this.”

Killian leans in, pressing the knife against my entrance. “You won’t feel it for long,” he says softly as I gasp, and my body locks.
