“How do you feel?” his mum asked Ejiro, cupping his face in her hands. “That was so, so brave of you. I’m sure it was difficult, coming out like that on TV. I hope you didn’t feel pressured?”

“No, I didn’t, ma,” Ejiro said shyly, respectfully, still bashful with Obiora’s family even though they’d pretty much adopted him.

For some reason, the respect and reverence with which Ejiro treated his parents made Obiora want to fuck him even more. He tried desperately not to stare at Ejiro like the man was a walking sex-magnet.

“How many times will I tell you to call me “mummy”, eh? Enough of this “ma” nonsense.”

“Ifeoma, haba. Stop hounding the poor boy,” Obiora’s father said, holding an almost empty tumbler of scotch in one hand. “I’m proud of you, Ejiro. I know coming out on TV must’ve been hard.”

“Thank you, sir.” His eyes shone with emotion.

“Obiora cried, you know? The first time he told us he was bisexual.”

“Okay, daddy,” Obiora interjected, blushing. “I think he’s heard that story enough times.”

“Ah, shuo? And he will hear it again.”

They laughed.

Ejiro looked so soft, as he usually did when he interacted with Obiora’s parents. It was like he couldn’t believe he could have this kind of support from Nigerian parents, which made Obiora feel furious on his behalf at how his mother had messed him up.

Ejiro still hadn’t spoken to his mother since that dreadful phone call; she hadn’t called him, and he’d refused to call her, admitting to Obiora that if he did, all he’d do was apologise and let her walk all over him again, and he was done with that. That she refused to contact him after everything said she knew this, too.

The relationship was dead and gone in Obiora’s opinion, but Obiora knew Ejiro would need time. At least now that she wasn’t hounding him anymore, Ejiro was finally beginning to see and understand the sheer depths of emotional abuse she’d put him and his sister through.

And while he knew that sort of relationship could never be replaced, it felt devastatingly good that his parents could help fill that specific hole in Ejiro’s life—or even carve a new space for themselves in his heart.

Ajiri, Blessing, and Obioma were similar in a lot of ways, ribbing him and Ejiro good-naturedly after they were done greeting the parents. Obinna rolled his eyes at their antics, too Grown™ for it all.

They said their goodnights not too long after that.

The door to their hotel room had barely shut when they were crashing into each other’s arms.

Ejiro ended up slammed against the closed door, their mouths moulding and meshing, tongues tangling, teeth nipping. Obiora bit at his jaw, his throat, sucked a hickey into his neck that had Ejiro moaning and trembling, gripping Obiora’s curls in tight fists. The slight pull of it went straight to Obiora’s dick, which was pounding furiously between his legs.

Quickly, he spun Ejiro around to face the door.

“Yes,” Ejiro gasped, pressing back against him, his voice raspy. “Oh God, fuck me, fuck me—”

“Shit.” Obiora for the sachet of lube and the condom he’d stashed into his wallet “just in-case”.

Since Ejiro liked the stretch, liked it to hurt a little, Obiora didn’t spend too much time fingering him open before he had the condom on and was sliding home.

“Yes, yes, yes, oh my God, oh my God—”

Obiora snapped his hips wildly, one hand on Ejiro’s hip, the other braced against the door. He pounded into Ejiro until Ejiro was sobbing incoherently, his pleasure so intense he began to lose the strength in his legs.

Obiora bit his shoulder, shaking, and didn’t even try to make it last, dropping his hand from the door so he could reach around and wrap Ejiro’s stiff, leaking dick in his grasp.

One tight stroke was all his boyfriend needed, and he was screaming Obiora’s name and coming all over his fist.

“Jesus fucking Christ,” Obiora groaned as he followed, the feel of Ejiro’s ass milking his prick too much to bear.

They collapsed against the door, panting.

“Well,” Ejiro said breathlessly.

Obiora laughed. He planted a soft kiss on Ejiro’s shoulder, part apology for the teeth marks he could see forming on Ejiro’s flesh, and part just because. “I love you.”
