Her children exchanged wary looks beforekissing their mates and wandering out to the center of the floor.Sera and Liam returned to their table as the rest of the crowd fellback.

Cassidy lifted the microphone again beforefiddling with her phone. A second later, the sound of piano musicdrifted from the speakers. Cassidy smiled as she thumbed somethingelse on her phone.

Something over the heads of her brothers andsisters exploded with a loud poof, and a wave of color and dustfilled the air. Sera had no idea what happened until the dustsettled and she saw the glitter covering her children. Cassidystarted laughing.

Beside her, Liam guffawed before covering hismouth while David, Mike, and Jack roared with laughter. Herchildren were nowhere near as amused as they stood blinking outfrom the glitter coating them. Their eyes were the only things notcompletely covered.

“Get my sword; I’m going to kill her,” Willowgrated from between clenched teeth.

Vicky pulled out the front of her dress andstared down it. “I have glitter in my bra.”

“Iwillget her for this,” Iangrowled.

“Not if I get her first,” Ethan said.

“The prank wars are back on,” Isabelle vowed.“And she’s going to pay.”

Aiden took a step toward the stage as Cassidyturned and sprinted away. Her laughter trailed behind her as sheran. Her brothers and sisters followed her into the night whileDante and everyone else laughed loudly.

“It’s one hell of a legacy,” Sera said, andLiam kissed her.
