“No!” My voice was shrill, desperate, but Thaddeus didn’t reply.

Blaise grunted as he flopped down on his back. “I love you, Poppy.”
“I love you, Lilith,” Kai murmured, already lying down with his eyes shut.
“I love you.” Aziel stared into my eyes with heavy lids. “You’re my reason for existing, my beloved.”
My body was brimming with raw energy. Unlike before my body accepted being a full-fledged hybrid, intimacy wasn’t exhausting in the least. If anything it recharged me, but I couldn’t say the same for the guys as a heavy blanket of exhaustion weighed down on them.
With a smile on my face, my eyes fluttered closed, and I drifted off into another restful sleep.
A flash of bright light followed by a crackling heat stirred me from my sleep.
“I must insist, Gabriel! You don’t need to interrupt—”
“It’s King Gabriel now, and interrupt wha—oh.”
“They actually fucking let you out of Heaven’s jail?” Aziel’s groggy voice sparked my consciousness, and my eyelids flew open.
“Did you just say King?” Blaise asked, rubbing his eyes.
I sat upright and scrambled for a cover, but Thaddeus and Kai moved their naked bodies in front of mine to shield me from Gabriel’s prying eyes.
“Um…” Gabriel paused, and I smacked my forehead against Thaddeus’s back. “Yeah. The Queens of Heaven got me out of the chains and asked me to take over the Northern domain of Heaven.”
“I’m sorry, Queen Lilith.” Priamos’s voice was timid, but I could feel the pride pouring off him for my new title. “I chased him here but was too late. I told him not to disturb you.”
“It’s not your fault, Priamos,” I muttered. “Why is he here?”
“I’m right here, you know? You can talk to me,” Gabriel said.
“I’m naked.”
“We’re all naked,” Blaise said, glaring at him. “Can’t you take a hint and get the fuck out?”
“I’ve seen her naked before,” Gabriel said, causing the guys to stiffen and growls to ring out around me. “I don’t even care about that right now. I need to talk to her.”
“Can’t it wait?” Kai asked.
“No.”
