It’s us, and I can’t help wanting to keep it for myself.
Damon pulls out of me last and carries me through the woods back to reality. I tremble in his arms and watch Hawk and Cam following us. Their eyes on me like nothing else exists. It’s powerful being what they need, what they want.
When we get to the bikes, Cam goes to his saddlebags. He comes back and gently wipes my bottom and pussy. Hawk brings over a duffle and pulls out one of Damon’s hoodies and someof my leggings. Damon sets me down, and they all work on cleaning me up and dressing me.
I don’t bother to help, just let my hand trail over their chests, arms, jaws. I’m in a daze, and I can’t be bothered to care.
Loved. That’s what I am. That’s what these boys give me.
When I’m dressed, Damon straddles his bike and Hawk helps me climb on in front of Damon. I lean back into him as he holds me, staring into the dark woods. The others straddle their bikes too, but no one is in a hurry to leave this place as we come down.
Our place.
“Are you okay? Were we too rough?” Cam asks. He leans forward on his bike.
“No. It was all good,” I say softly, like being too loud will dispel whatever peace we have. “Though I thought I could at least get a hit in before you subdued me.”
Hawk chuckles at my pout. “You got me in the side before I caught your leg. If it bruises, I’ll expect you to kiss it better.”
I breathe in and release it. After all that, I just feel content, relaxed, and sleepy.
“We still need to talk.” Damon rests his hand on my stomach.
I love how much larger he is than me, how I feel safe locked in his arms.
“She’ll be safe.” Cam winks at me, reassuring Damon. “We can handle this week so you can focus on proving you’re the only choice they should make for their team.”
“We won’t leave her alone. We know what’s at risk.” Hawk rubs his hands on his thighs as he looks at me. “We’re not idiots and are perfectly capable of keeping our woman satisfied and safe.”
“I haven’t been attacked, except the rose.” I glance over my shoulder at Damon. “I’ll be safe in the house. The alarm will beset, and I’ll curl up in our bed where you can watch me with your surveillance equipment.” I arch my eyebrow at him.
“My favorite time of the day is catching up on yours.” He smirks and slides his hand around the front of my throat, drawing me gently to rest my back on his chest. “Whoever is watching you is going to know I’m gone. It’s prime time for someone to try to attack you.”
I let the rhythm of his chest rising and falling lull me. “For a second, I worried that someone knew about this place and the game we play. That’s the only time I really felt afraid. That something might have happened to you.”
Damon’s hand tightens on my stomach for a moment. “No one comes here. It’s why we like to. The road doesn’t get traffic, and no one can find us.”
“We wouldn’t put you at risk like that, goody.”
I turn to look at Cam and Hawk. “I know that.”
Hawk breathes out. “I’ll slip out late if I have to, but I’m guessing my parents wouldn’t be bothered if you came to stay with me.”
My cheeks flush. “It’s different sneaking around than being open about it.”
Hawk smirks. “My parents are aware we’re dating and likely fucking. They don’t delude themselves with thoughts of me being innocent.”
“I don’t think any of your parents think you’re innocent,” I scoff. “But my mom doesn’t worry about me like that. At least I don’t think she does. I’ve never given her reason to worry about me.” I don’t adduntil now.
“We can wait and see how the week goes. If it’s between you being left alone and you spending the night at my house, there’s only one solution.” Hawk’s green eyes meet mine.
“I know.” I rest my head back against Damon’s chest and breathe out. “We should come out to our parents. It’s goingto happen eventually. We almost got caught last night. I’m surprised they haven’t figured it out already.”
“My dad is probably suspicious.” Damon rubs my stomach. “Your mom might be too, but she’s living in her delusion that this move was the best for her.”
“It was the best for me too.” I thread my fingers through his. “I want to wait until you get back to tell them though. If that’s okay?”
I glance over my shoulder at him, and he cups my jaw. His eyes meet mine. “Anything you want, little devil.”
